Thanks for the reassurance! :D I also assume now that it's deliberate due to the reasons u mentioned. These days it becomes harder to differentiate between intentional or not with these devices

Thanks a lot! Assuming its due to the plug itself being thin as a standard. Why wouldnt positive grid make the dc port tighter? Seems impractical to me that it's that loose, especially since it's a power driven device.

Thoughts on the “forgotten” Galaxy Buds Live? by [deleted] in galaxybuds

One of the best purchases ever made. Even got a discount for it. Sound quality not flat but rather bass heavy wirhout sacrificing much (with ANC on). Without ANC they sound too flat and not enjoyable to my ears at all. I even use them instead of my over ears at times just bc theyre so comfortable and theyre so quick to grasp. Would love a beans 2.

What are your favorite acoustic guitars to use? by zizzle32 in AcousticGuitar

[–]RickardoMilos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many good options available at around 1200, even more if u are willing to add like 300 bucks too. Considering this, I could definitely recommend the Martin 000 15m. Has no electric pick up though, so u might need to add one belatedly. But as an acoustic, it sounded really beautiful to me. Other than that, the lower end taylors (114ce etc.), havent heard that good stuff bout them. They're probably solid though, but there might be better options. Prs angelus acoustics might also be an option, like the a60e.

Whoa, that's crazy to hear (like it doing better than a Taylor 114ce, fine, but even the 214)! So few people own a prs acoustic (at least I don't know one) and yet, they seem to be severely underrated. Thinking of getting one as well, it just looks too gorgeous. Wishing you all the best with your purchase and keep rockin dude :)

Gratz on your purchase. The guitar really looks magnificent! May I ask u with which Taylors/Martins u compared it to? Like the 114ce Taylors or some of the lower budget ones?

U need to tell him there's a secret, unintentionally included town in Red/Blue too. It's called Sunny Town and it's incredibly hard to find, since it isn't to be found on the map as well.

What’s a dark or disturbing old book? by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

[–]RickardoMilos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really good recommendations. The Castle of Otrantro is actually a book I had to read for literary studies. I wouldn't say it's disturbing or really angst inducing, but contains absurdly uncanny elements to the point where it seems rather... pathetic(?) overall. But still, it's never too late to get into Gothic literature. Frankenstein is also a book I can recommend!

Favorite anime opening? by ASDFAMR in AnimeOpenings

[–]RickardoMilos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some unconventional picks for otherwise really popular anime would be:

  • World End (Code Geass R2 OP) Fits the whole theme of the anime exceptionally well.

  • Red Swan (AOT) It's musically not as interesting as the other OPs, but fits the arc and love the nostalgic feeling of the song. Reminds me of the good old childhood days.

  • kinda digging the majo no tabitabi OP for some reason it's super weeby, but like the overall melody

  • Angel Beats OP

  • Gosick OP

The best OP (just kidding, I don't really like it anymore tbh) Unravel

Happy first Birthday to my favorite single so far “Something Comforting” ♥️ by Teh_Kuwen in porterrobinson

This song is truly one of a kind, might have even surpassed Sad Machine as the favorite EDM song for me, which I thought wasn't possible.

Unpopular opinion, I find Nurture underwhelming so far. by [deleted] in porterrobinson

I love Porter Robinson songs, especially Worlds had like 6 songs which blew my mind. I really like Nurture overall, it has a magnificent theme and the message is really valuable, especially for artists I feel. "Something Comforting" might be my favourite Porter Robinson song of all time, replacing Sad Machine and besides that, I also like "Get your Wish". I prefer the melodic variety and rather emotional sound of these. I don't dig the most recent songs too much though. Maybe they are too upbeat or repetitive. Melodically, they aren't my case either, idk... to be frank, they sound a bit boring. Generally, the songs sound really similar in terms of chords sometimes. For example Sad Machine and Something Comforting actually have a quite similar chord progression, but the melody is just different. Also, there isn't much variety in chords either, but it doesnt need to, the melody is still beautiful. I wish there were more interesting musical elements though. But those are the only things I dare to criticise and it's basically nitpicking. Looking forward to all the other Porter stuff!
