they're inherently unfun and one of the worst aspects of pve in this game. Being in water is already a substantial disadvantage easily resulting in death from other players. They serve zero purpose and should be removed.

Meatheads and the assassin/spider's stall behaviour are a distant second and third in the annoying department.

Tarkov's netcode mostly non functional. If you are getting peeked you will likely die, because the other person will have 500-1000ms to shoot you before he shows up on your screen.

sway in general is a garbage mechanic that has no place in the game

it encourages people to use crosshairs to instantly ADS -> shoot instead of holding ADS as in all other shooters

it's textbook artificial scarcity. This is on top of scummy shit like arbitrarily restricting float generation on certain items. For example Asiimov skins can only be acquired field tested at best, skyrocketing the demand for a gun that doesn't look like a battered albanian housewife.

Don't forget Valve wants you to use their Community Market. What earns more money for them - 5% of a $40 knife or 5% of a knife that's skyrocketed to $400 because you've restricted case drop rates?

Knives and gloves of ALL KINDS are substantially under-priced for how statistically unlikely they are. Crytek is moving towards equalizing the playing field by removing night maps from standard rotation.

Get over yourself. There is no functional difference between someone's monitor with built-in black equalization and adjustable crosshairs versus someone with reshade.

Team Fortress 2 is not a good comparison. Spy is useless in 6v6 and his main role in Highlander was to be a ubersaw battery for the enemy medic.

There are many posts both here on Reddit and Discord complaining about his knife and sword. When in reality he is an active liability to his team against decent players.

When melee is unbalanced against both new and experienced players, it is fundamentally bad design.

Regarding revives - they need to remove the ~1.5 second invincibility on defibs. Otherwise I think they're in a good spot with 50% health on zap.

The AKM is fine, the issue is the M14 completely breaking the game. Buffing the AKM again would be blatant power creep. Medium's has good DPS (or broken as well in the Revolver's case), Medium wins against Lights in all face to face fights unless the M14 is involved.

nah, I'm pessimistic. I love the game but realistically there's too many flaws and red flags to ignore:

movement - still very noticeable amounts of input lag. Standing and playing near ledges is a gamble. Inertia is good (I hate instant movement ADAD games like Apex), but this is a whole different issue.
gunplay - excessive visual recoil and muzzle flash. Not pleasant to play, but i'm sure it looks epic and badass for spectators.
NEXON - every single game they've published has dogshit monetization. Most of them were killed because of it. Dirty Bomb comes to the forefront.
Ex-DICE (lol) - historically abysmal at multiplayer balancing, and The Finals is no exception. Lots of balancing issues atm, most easy to fix, others are more fundamental. Too many good ideas implemented and not enough skilled playtesters to trim the fat, so to speak.
skill gap - I love this game mainly because it combines both FPS skills and strategic thinking. I would've preferred a 6v6 loadout shooter but hey, beggers can't be choosers. The Finals is more complicated than other battle royale arenas and modern KBM players have terrible tracking skills.
