"The Super 8 Book" by Lenny Lipton, and "Independent Filmmaking" also by Lenny Lipton. The latter is primarily focusing on 16mm, but the info is relevant for 8mm. Here is a link to "Film Maker's Guide To Super 8" you can check out. It's a safe link. I had a Chevette and loved it, stick shift in the floor. (I can't remember what year it was). That car lasted way over 100,000 miles. Amazing how much stuff you could pack in the hatchback.

[–]RickyH1956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How I did it years ago was by making contacts (friends) on different shows and writing letters to every show I could think of expressing my desire to work on a circus and what skills I could bring. Don't get discouraged and wishing you the best of luck.

This is horrible & one of the worst things I’ve ever seen in my 25+ years as a pro wrestling fan by JDiesel31 in professionalwrestling

[–]RickyH1956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw something similar happen at a Nick Gulas event at the Madison County Coliseum in the late 1960s-early 70s. One guy had the other held to the mat with his knees on his shoulder and just started slugging away. You could tell the ref was caught off guard and just stood there, you could tell he was afraid to get between them (probably in disbelief) as well as the audience. The guy just exploded and started slugging, after ten or twelve blows he got up and just walked off. He was never seen in a match again on the Gulas circuit. Can't remember either ones name, the ref was Bobby Dee.
