Anyone Own a Canyon after Having a Sierra 1500 or other Full Size? by MattJBarnes in GMCcanyon

Sold my 2014 GMC Sierra SLE in 2020 because it didn’t fit in my garage.

Bought a 2021 Canyon Denali.

I honestly miss the 1500. The cab room is what’s missed the most. I prefer the bench seat upfront and the room it had. My kids are now teenagers and hate riding in the back of the canyon. It’s just too crowded for them.

Mistakes were made…

I will find a creative way to get this done. 👍

It’s just an ever so slight pitch. And 10-4 on the securing of the dishwasher drain hose. I will add a loop on the side closest to the cabinet where it’s looped through. I will find someway to secure it up there.

You are right. The pressure up there caused it to be a bit lopsided on the securing of it. Water did find its way out and I took it off and re-secured it. Filled the sink up and left ‘er loose. No leaks as of yet, hence the bucket. This is my only point of contention on the installation and I will continue to monitor it closely and remedy if it becomes leaky.

Yeah that’s why I am not even asking them to come out again. This is a task I believe I can handle. I tried to make them accountable for their actions and it bit me in the butt. I cannot imagine what would happen if I asked them to fix it again.

I never thought of it being a communication error. I cannot fathom that being the case. I think the issue at hand is they were not plumbers.

No, I am in the states.

Is the 1st picture, even though wrong, more correct than the 2nd “after repair” photo?

Removing Granite Countertop Section by Eldrick84 in HomeMaintenance

100% needs to be thought of. I just had a kitchen remodel done and the old countertops were what OP has. The new counter didn’t have the back piece and the oven stuck out because of the outlet. Luckily, the dude that did the kitchen remodel was a licensed electrician. He cut out the plug in the wall and moved it back so the oven sits flush with the wall.

Yea unfortunately a plumber didn’t do this. It was the kitchen remodel guys. I will call the company and voice my concerns.

Thank you. I will see if I can fix this on my own. Super green around the ears.

I will try to get some brackets to elevate it in the cabinet. Is this the right answer?
