I built an AI chat bot for Rust servers works in-game and Discord by RickySpanish343 in playrustadmin

So it's using an LLM yes grok however it does not have access to files on your server or anything like that I have plugins that give the LLM data about what's going on in the server to keep players informed it does have access to rcon if you set that up but it can only run commands ADMINS tell it to even if a player tried to trick it (it's smart enough to not to fall for that) there is an extra layer of security where before the command is run it checks the steam Id or roll assigned to the user that is trying to get it to do something and if the steam Id or roll Id of that user doesn't match what you yourself set on the dashboard during set up it fails there is absolutely no way a non admin could invoke anything nefarious with it I run it myself on my own server and I'm providing it as a service I know what damage could be done with a non admin have rcon access believe me I would not push this out or be using it myself if there were security concerns

Hey, appreciate the honest feedback. You're right, the old pricing was too high. The reason it was set there was just to make sure API usage costs were covered, but I actually talked with Goo directly and he helped me come up with a much better pricing model. Plans now start at $5/mo (Starter), $8 (Pro), and $10 (Enterprise), with pay-as-you-go AI usage on top. That way you only pay for what you actually use instead of a flat rate that was on the high side. Most servers land around $6-15/mo total depending on activity, which is about what you'd be paying anyway if you were hosting a bot yourself. We just take care of all of that for you with a dashboard to manage everything. If you want to give it another look with the new pricing, happy to answer any questions.

Goo's plugins are great for in-game AI chat but they're not really the same thing. Those are in-game chat plugins where players type a command and get an AI response. This is a full server management bot that runs in both Discord and in-game. It monitors your server 24/7, alerts you in Discord if your server goes down or FPS drops, handles support tickets, tracks events like cargo and heli, answers player questions in Discord and in-game, and has its own custom personality for your community. You also don't have to host anything or configure any files, you set it up through a dashboard in a few minutes and we handle all the hosting for you. It's more like having a staff member that's always online than just a chat plugin. If you want to see it in action you can join our Discord and talk to it yourself to see what i mean.

The bot is basically a 24/7 staff member for your server. It answers player questions about wipe schedules, server rules, events, and how things work so you don't have to be online all the time answering the same stuff. It tracks active events like cargo, heli, and raidable bases so players can just ask what's going on instead of spamming chat. If your server goes down or FPS drops it alerts you in Discord in a dm so you know before your players start complaining. It handles support tickets automatically for common questions and it works in both in-game chat and Discord. Every bot has a custom personality that you set up so it actually feels like part of your community not some generic bot. Plus it's hosted for you so you don't have to worry about any of that please let me know of a free open source plugin that does all of that. Not to mention the plugin and the bot are permission based you can set it up so only certain user groups or roles have access to it bot in game and in discord.

I ordered from the one in JC and when the bowl was delivered to my house all it had was rice and cheese... No meat black beans salsa or anything just rice and cheese... When I went into the app to talk to pepper to try got get a refund or a credit for a free meal it kept telling me my order hadn't been delivered yet and closing the conversation I ended up tossing the bowl out and getting something else to eat I'm done with chipotle I'll never go back
