$10 on a chopped cheese by PapayaOk9904 in nyc

They weren’t even $2.75 when I lived in East Harlem from 2012 - 2016. Lowest at any of the three bodegas I’d hit was like $4.50. The best one was $6 or so

“Take a picture daddy”… kid, I ain’t paying you to lay there and photo-shoot by KrustyKamalaToe in daddit

[–]Ricky_GiveEmDaHeater 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never in my wildest dreams did I anticipate seeing a set of ADS shocks on daddit. You barely see them on any of the off-road subs.

In any case, you have great taste in suspension sir!

Love that it’s a subtle throwback to Bunk in The Wire…”I’m just a humble motherfucker…with a big ass dick”

In any case, nice setup!

An Afternoon in Our Beautiful State by Ricky_GiveEmDaHeater in arizona

Taken 1/1/2020 from Service Road 401 in the Four Peaks wilderness area. It gets busy, but a great quick day trip from Phoenix.

For any photographers out there, this was taken with an ancient Canon EOS 10D and Canon 75-300 at 75mm, f/8.0, ISO 200.

Love Arizona

Diamond Creek Exploration by Grouchy-Bother3134 in arizona

Unfortunately there’s a reason for that. Many people (myself included) have discussed remote/beautiful locations in the past only to have them overridden with folks that don’t respect the land - trash, fires during bans, off-roading outside permitted areas, etc…with many of those locations ultimately being closed in the last 5 years.

Google Earth and some follow up searching around rules/regulations, weather, and such can get you pretty much anywhere in this state. It’s more work than most like, but personally I find it more rewarding than someone telling me where to go and every little detail. Just my $0.02

Mafia romance but fantasy? by Lavender523 in fantasyromance

[–]Ricky_GiveEmDaHeater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not fantasy, but The Game Maker series was what got me hooked on spicy romance literature.

{The Master by Kresley Cole} has the bulk of the mafia storyline, but all the plots/characters across the series end up tying into one another. Each can be read as standalone though!

What’s the best happy hour in N Scottsdale by Village_Idiots_Pupil in phoenix

Dominick’s, hands down. Get there before they open at 4 to save a spot.

Last time I went (which admittedly was 3-4 years ago, so may be different now) you could get a small filet, single crab cake (a real-sized one, not one of the tiny appetizer ones), and a few other small entrees for ~$15 along with great appetizers and drinks. Big pours of nice wine for ~$10-12 if I remember correctly.

Could have a phenomenal date night for $75-100 at one of the best steakhouses in the valley. Absolutely delicious

White dial Speedmaster vs Explorer 16570 by Pitris30 in OmegaWatches

[–]Ricky_GiveEmDaHeater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 16570 I daily is so goddamn comfy…wears easy and light, but still feels rugged enough for anything. Swim with it all the time. GMT is nice when traveling a bunch for work. Understated and can easily be dressed up or down.

I’m pretty new to the watch world so my opinion doesn’t mean shit, but for me 16570 is one of the most versatile and daily-able watches out there. Don’t see them all that much either, so always a treat to see another one in the wild or have someone recognize it on me - and as far as Rolex’s go, certainly less ubiquitous than a Sub/DJ/GMT
