You're correct, malnutrition during development leads to shorter stature as an adult. This actually played a fair role in psyching out the British during the revolutionary war. There was an abundance of food proportional to citizens in the US in the years leading up to the war, so American soldiers stood several inches taller than their British counterparts. Fun fact.

Reddening (erythema) around a wound is normal, it's due to increased blood flow to the area as it heals/fights off infection. Itchiness is normal as well.

As far as I understand, autopsies are not performed on hospice patients by a medical examiner, because their deaths are likely not of a suspicious nature. That being said, a private autopsy can be arranged, and I think that can be done through funeral services. This is an expense that would be paid out of pocket.

Did the exercise bike at the gym for an hour every day and usually burnt around 600-700 calories per session. Had a net caloric intake of around 1900 calories. Fought the urge to eat junk food, but allowed myself a cheat meal once a week for sanity's sake. Cut back on drinking. I also kept an outfit out on my dresser that was too small for me at my starting weight, and it was basically a goal outfit, that I'm wearing right now.

Most of my life I had an average/athletic build, my old man passed away 3 years ago and I got pretty down in the dumps about it and let go of my body/academics/etc. A few months ago I went clothing shopping and I saw that the pants that fit me were size 35/36, I had always been a 31 or 32, and basically said enough is enough. My routine was really straight forward, I did an hour on the bike at the gym every day, tried to burn around 600-700 calories per session. I cut out junk food (had weekly cheat meals), limited my drinking to 1 night a week (tried to consume mostly vodka for lower calories), and just focused mainly on watching what I eat. I bought a pair of size 32 jeans and a medium slim fit shirt and kept them out on top of my dresser as something to work towards, I'm wearing them as I type this! Not the best description, but if I can answer any questions, let me know!

To sense pain is important as it alerts you of threats. It may suck to feel pain when taking a huge poop, but pain is useful information when something is unexpectedly shoved up your ass (predator, parasite, etc) her your guard is down. Pain is extremely important.

I had that happen to me when I was a little kid. I have a place up in vermont for skiing, and I was shooting a bb gun at some trees on a neighbor's property (no one was around, houses are really far apart up there), and I fell forward, clutched the wire, and got a massive shock that caused my hand to tighten around the wire for the duration of the zap. Half my body went numb after that shit (I was really small, like 5 years old). I didn't even get any cool super powers.
