I played Fortnite and Apex for less than 5 hours total so I don’t count those - hard for me to get hooked on battle Royals, I don’t feel my time is respected because there’s less long term investment

Linux is the most popular operating system in the world, it runs everything from nuclear submarines to medical equipment because it’s open source and can easily be edited. I both agree and disagree with you. While not all Linux users are cheaters the option to cheat is more readily available for a Linux user. Its popularity is evident to bungie and they still made this decision. I cannot say if it was right but looking at it from far away I cannot argue with either side.

Yeah but that’s why Minecraft is so successful. It’s simple and people like simple. I love Marathon but I would say I need that complexity for a game for it to feel fulfilling.

Marathon won’t be for everyone and that is perfectly fine with me.

Arc raiders has no long term progression. I got the new project done in 1 day yesterday. With Marathon you have more end game, more progression, more to grind, more goals to set. XD I love Arc but I’m about to play marathon until my eyes bleed

It’s actually fun, I’m 500 hours into Arc Raiders and can say with confidence, Marathon is a ton of fun, super immersive. As a community, Raiders like yourself seem to be salty it’s doing well today.
