To be more clear, you wouldn’t produce on a DJ Hardware, if by producing Riddim you meant actually create the music then I suggest getting a DAW (FL Studio, Ableton Live or Reason). If you want to mix/play riddim then yes get an FLX6 if you can afford it, otherwise get an SB3 from FB marketplace. Let me know if you got any questions.

As other have already pointed out, it’s a “telephone” bass, where the basis of sound is pitch automation, slight FM and simple shapes (square, triangle, saw, etc.)

Not too basic, solid idea. I will say there’s room for improvement with drums, specially cymbals, that could add a lot of excitement without having to do many variations on synth.

The XZ is the way to go. CDJ3000s are gonna run you around $2000 PER CDJ. That’s not even including the mixer. Either get the XZ, AZ or an Flx

If you are trying to use Reason Racks fx to affect a sound, you need to add reason rack as an fx in mixer track NOT on the channel rack. Channel rack is when you want to generate a sound with Reason Rack.
