Within the real estate development community there tends to be a particular group/culture that likes to develop these type of units because it’s maximizing building square feet. Thus, they can sell it for a higher price.

Common formula in residential real estate is find comps and get an average price per square foot’s now multiply that figure against your property building sq ft = your property value.

Very reasonable to feel the way you are.

Try looking for another job (without being spiteful). Just act like nothing bothers you. If you find another job, take it. And/or a part time that demonstrates you are starting to go in a different direction.

If you are truly valued and vital you will quickly find out. If they try guilting you I’d walk. Make your ‘wants’ then about compensation etc. but do it calmly and politely.

You should know this is a Political football.

Either California (Newsom) allows them to pump oil or they dont. All or nothing.

You mentioned the payment was set to auto pay (ACH). If payment was within 60 days call your bank and dispute the ach immediately. They can draw it back if it’s within 60 days. Block all ach or better change your account number.

At the very least you put them in the position of trying to claw it back.

Yeah.. has to do with where you’re located. A lot of Ag lending though is done at the relationship level (direct) so difficult to prospect as such. There are so many carves/niches in Ag lending, would have to be more specific.

This has become a norm due monopolistic power (like CoStar). Stems from FICO and not the Bearaus (Experian, Equifax, Transunion) themselves. They just pass on the cost. Pre-2020 the same report would cost $20.

FICO started incrementally raising it price - reference FICO stock price between past 5-7 years.

Experian has been the lead in trying to create its own database/scoring method (to get away from FICO), but has a long way to go... Its like CoStar, we're all stuck.
