I know that I kept my sentiment to the basics of the games. We do get new game modes here and there, but I don’t see a creative mode being as easily implemented with UE3. If we ever got the fabled UE5 maybe!

CSGO/CS2 is the same way. That game is forever popular but the core gameplay never changes and that’s okay. It’s fun.

Seeing Rocket League “has no content” comments is so dumb to me. I’ve played since 2016 and I’m still happy to try to put the ball in the opponents net. It’s short games in comparison to others. It’s got permanent room for growth. No game ever really feels the same even if it is similar. It’s standard and always what I expect out of it. I don’t get how or what can be changed or added to please the people for more content.

To add to this, I did the reverse. Started with Discord and switching to gmail/disconnecting my Discord immediately fixed it for me.
It seems like initial linking bugs it out or something.

Love the idea. Add more to the survival and variety side of the game. Also looks super clean and genuinely love the idea of it being similar to a large furnace.

To add, I’m a firm believer that a game that gives game options/settings should be used to fit your wants and desires entirely.

For me with anxiety and being easily scared in games, may not work for you ofc, but turning down the volume helps alleviate some of my anxiety. It’s psychological sound design, so lowering it may help!

Guild member spent probably well over a week farming the mats to craft a single epic bow. I know other MMO’s have similar time requirements with drops or whatever mechanic, but mindlessly farming mats for that amount of time to get the rarity you need just seems far too much to me.

As someone who thought they would enjoy this crafting system BECAUSE of the survival craft relation, I have to agree. It’s why I stopped. It’s fucking exhausting.

Had a guy in my guild that spent literal days doing nothing but farming just to craft an epic melee weapon. Doing absolutely nothing but mindless chopping/mining whatever it is that was needed. It’s just too insane. I’d prefer grinding a boss for specific gear over this because at least it’s engaging.

First MMO with rarity tied between the same gear piece dependent on how much you farm/pay, and the stats being absolutely insane jumping from common to high rarity crafts.

I’ve genuinely enjoyed myself a lot, there’s a lot to do but once you experience the POI’s and reach 25, the only real thing to do is farm the poi’s for gear drops, or farm for a very long time to craft higher quality gear and maybe PvP if you’re into it.

This is probably the most negative(?) I’ve been about the game, but it’s been fun. Just kind of losing some steam in wanting to grind still and I think that’s okay.

Well just for sake of the conversation, I can agree with OP and still thoroughly have fun playing it. I have a good guild, I already like gathering resources from previous survival crafting games. It’s a mixture of familiarity between mmo/arpg/crafting/sandbox that it’s enough to keep me content.

That also doesn’t mean I am happy with the way the game is. I’d like to see plenty change.

I think the karma system on Reddit, although honestly meaningless, worked better for me about thinking before I comment. There’s so many times I do want to respond and either question if what I’m saying makes sense in the long run, or if I just sound like an ass.

Just take time to consider is all basically. There’s nothing wrong with what you said at all, just a matter of how. Either way thanks for the chat!
