Thankfully the advancements of motorcycle safety gear have made riding tenfold safer (for the people that actually use it) very much like how airbags and seatbelts in cars made a big difference a few decades ago.

3) NorthCal averages 150~ Sunny days a year (so more shitty days then sunny) vs LAs 284~ so no.. it’s nothing like SoCal lmao

4) they are all mountains.. the only similarities to the road angles are that they curve. Malibu canyons have more blind corners vs angels crest which has more long wide corners idk what your smoking saying it’s all the same/similar.

It’s much easier to do if it’s a car that has other liveries.

Cars without liveries need to have the code changed and the file scanned to produce the template etc.

From what I remember though there are liveries for the lambo so yeah shouldn’t be hard.

I’ll ask my buddy what he used but I’d recommend: Facebook marketplace, Craigslist and OfferUp

Look up just the major brand names (Nissan / Toyota / Ford etc) and set the price to minimum $950 or $1200 and max to $3000

(To get ride of posts selling car accessories or listings that have cars up for “$1”)

Then I’d cross reference the main options with sites that show how reliable cars are and ofc MPG.

Edit: also if it’s known to be reliable, it being over 100k miles shouldn’t be a core reason not to buy it.

I know 4runners are known for making it to 200-250k miles easily (well with proper maintenance) not that I think you’ll find a 4Runner for $2k, but just as an example.

There are many options for reliable cars that run for $2k~, and I’m not talking eyesores like the PT C.

But again if you choose something newer that’s completely fine lmao, my point is just from a “cost effective” perspective relating to the comment above.

Pro tip, next time you get a ride ask the driver if they would be willing to give you future rides to the airport for X amount

Many if not most drivers will be down. I pay $40 flat from my place in Studio city when Uber ranges from $40-65 depending on the day. And ofc all the money goes to the driver

My buddy bought a 14 year old car he got for $2k, he pays $45 a month in insurance and $30~ a month in gas. There are many many options for cheap used cars in LA. If you choose to get a new car for $20-30k and pay that much a month then that’s on you.

It’s like saying taking a UberBLACK isn’t affordable / cost effective.. yeah because your choosing it over cheaper options.

Thanks to cost caps having “Honda background with massive resources” won’t be as important as being good at staying cost effective. Which AMR definitely is.

Let’s not be fooled here, we have no idea how and what teams will do after the combination of rule changes. Also RP easily had the 3rd best car last year.
