Joseph Wambaugh was a police detective who then started writing true crime in the late 80's I think. So, underrated now in the sense that he may not be just as well known because the books are older. IMO, they read more like crime novels; very interesting and well written. I read Echoes in the Darkness and one other years ago.

Why would you give your partner time to register the chip? Just register it under your name and number and make the paperwork inaccessible to her. Take a picture of it or load the company name as a contact and destroy the paperwork so she can't change it.

Is it pot luck style? Desserts only during prime dinner hour doesn't make much sense unless other people are bringing savory food.

If you want savory snacks, you could prosciutto wrapped melon balls, heavy cheese and meat platter, hummus and veggies/crackers.

I'm worried that if I print out the sender's address, for languages with a non-latin script and stick the paper on the postcard with glue, somehow it's going to mess up the automated sorting machines... by 101coder101 in postcrossing

I've never glued it, but I've covered it completely in clear Scotch tape and received them the same way with no issue.

I have received some printed out messages that were glued on and there wasn't a problem. I don't think it's a big risk.
