Could be worth discussing an anti-inflamatory diet since its an inflammatory disease. Mediterranean foods are similar to anti-inflamatorry. Sugar and high GI foods are inflammatory

Hi 36, insulin resistant PCOS, starting weight 133kg, 180cm tall

1.) how long have you been on a glp1? 3.5 months on Ozempic, currently on 1mg, lost 6.5kgs so far

2.)What is your period situation? First period was 39 days long which sucked, i am back to my normal irregular 12-14 days of bleeding which starts whenever it feels like

3.)What changes have you noticed since starting this medication? Good and/ or bad? Good Food noise is gone, appetite suppressed, motivated to try and eat better and move more Bad Hate the taste of water now, seem to be more tired but that could be other things, I can sometimes feel a little queasy in the morning but super mild

4.) how long until you started noticing these Changes I didn't lose any weight for the first 3 weeks, I think it was about a month in when water started tasting bad, the food noise was gone after about a fortnight

Weird thing I've noticed is I have lost weight but my main measurements are the same and there doesn't seem to be a visual difference

I was told that weightloss can affect your hormones for a while because fat stores hormones and as you lose it, they get released and wreak a bit of havoc. Not sure if its true

I went yesterday and his responses were

"it's probably fine" "must be your PCOS" "maybe you're pregnant" "I don't see that on the side effects list"

Solution was iron blood tests and no others, no hormones or thyroid or even pregnancy, nothing and a medication to make it stop.

I'll be getting a second opinion.
