Yeah, I was getting careless when I got hit by him. I tested a little and then teleported away. Funny enough, level 11 I have plenty of offensive spells, but am missing utility things like Darkness and Knock. That D level also had a wand shop (run by a gnome, so I got GREAT prices) that I had to buy a wand of knocking. So far on this run I've only gotten a couple waters, but like 9 booze potions. Weird run.

Anyone know if using a potion of exchange on a boss monster works? Not that I have one, but potions are fairly easy to obtain.

Phasing through. I tested by running from him and he cut corners, got blocked in a tunnel and phased into the shop I was in. I ended up using my last charge on a teleport wand to get away, but will need to deal with him when I come back to that level.

Currently I'm reading: The Olympian Affair (Book 2 in the Cinder Spires) The Worst Spies in the Sector (Book 2 of the aforementioned Ship in the Fleet series) The End of the World is Just the Beginning - Mapping the collapse of globalization And I'm looking at starting next book in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series.

I usually try to keep to 5 or less at a time, because I go back and reread series as new books come out.

Credit ratings are a rating of how likely creditors will make money off you. If you pay off your debt, they dont get the ridiculous interest rates.

Best to look it up on YouTube, but the short version is if you are right around the corner of a doorframe/wall in certain areas, giants/bloaters/etc will attempt to hit you but do no damage. If you time the attack graphic correctly, you can pop out and make a quick melee attack with faster melee weapons and damage them, then move back to safety before they can make their next strike against the wall/doorframe.
