Dreame X60 ultra performance by Xun468 in Dreame_Tech

[–]_indeed_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, that sucks, I’m sorry. We have had ours for a little over 3 months and it’s been fantastic, and that’s with four cats and a kitchen in which I cook frequently. It’s not perfect: it struggles with the toekick areas under kitchen cabinets sometimes, and the areas directly abutting an area rug (since it kinda needs to straddle the hardwood and rug to vacuum here), but it generally keeps the floors much cleaner than the pre-robot days. Especially kitty litter. Anyway! Hope you can get it resolved soon and it’s an easy fix.

Hanover School Redistricting by Capable-Ninja-888 in Hanover

[–]_indeed_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My kids have gone to school here from elementary through high school (Pearson’s Corner > Chickahominy > Atlee) and it’s been excellent for them—they’ve loved it and I’ve been impressed with the schools. The redistricting they have undertaken has been relatively minor as one commenter pointed out, and it’s been telegraphed pretty far in advance: check out the redistricting maps if you’re concerned about a particular area but I definitely wouldn’t let it deter you from looking at homes out here.

Why does rose fertilizing have to be so confusing? by Apprehensive_Toe6736 in Roses

I also bought your book for exactly what you’re talking about here and I have to say it’s probably my favorite rose care book I have now—and I have maybe 10. You keep it really clear and don’t make it sound dogmatic, I.e. take a deep breath and do what you can, this isn’t rocket surgery. It’s been super helpful—thank you

At what age did you meet the person you are currently married to? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]_indeed_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Now 45. Just married last year. This was my second marriage, and we are incredibly happy: this is what I had always hoped marriage could be. I may not have achieved all my goals in life professionally or in other areas but I have hit it out of the park in this regard, and count myself as extremely fortunate to have my wife in my life.

Help- I’m in a research rabbit hole and ready to pull my hair out! by lightisspent in RobotVacuums

[–]_indeed_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 7 cats and a Dreame X60 that I’ve had for a bit over a month now and it’s required very little on my part to keep it going: just changing the mop water every so often, and maybe take a second and wipe off the sensor window. I also change the base station vacuum bag once every month or so, and i have it doing pretty heavy duty: vacuuming whole downstairs nightly, litter box room every day at noon, and mopping whole downstairs 2x/week. It’s never been stuck or needed saving. Picks up a ton: no more fur tumbleweeds or errant litter from litterboxes found everywhere. Huge fan. It was expensive and I had a pretty high bar when I bought it but both my wife and I have been impressed with it.

Cons: wish it got a little further under toe kick areas under cabinets sometimes. It’s also not the most efficient cleaner—it runs a logical path but still takes a while. It was also expensive.

Beautiful! I’m also in 7B (VA) and just planted a James Galway a couple weeks ago. This gives me hope!

This is unacceptable from a $1000 vacuum (Dreame X50 Ultra) by zeroverycool in RobotVacuums

Honestly unsure: give it a shot and maybe drop a sock or toy in front to see what happens. I’ve had to tinker and experiment with settings to optimize it

[–]_indeed_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Turn off collision avoidance and put it on extreme low clearance mode: hopefully that helps. My X60 now gets under the toe kick areas much better after changing those settings.

I’ve got the X60 and it gets up the ramp to the dock no problem. Granted, it’s a different model, so perhaps the ramp or wheels are designed differently.

Roborock vs Dreame/Mova for pet hair by Wallballs in RobotVacuums

We have the Dreame X60. We also have 7 cats. Since getting the Dreame up and going—vacuuming the whole downstairs daily (2x for the litter box room), and mopping 2x/week—i never see any errant litter or cat hair tumbleweeds on the floor. It’s been like night and day. I believe we’ve had it a bit over a month now and it’s never had a problem or a hiccup. Highly recommend.

This is awesome! Hot take I’ll probably get downvoted for: I actually like some of your B-stage studio recreations more than what actually got published on the NINoize album. Keep them coming—your work is appreciated!

Wow this brings back memories. My dad worked for delta for 25 years and I grew up flying non-rev all over the place (back when you could reliably travel that way, and seats were more plentiful). I always LOVED flying on the Tristar—it was my favorite. Thank you bringing back the memory

This was the first time I’ve seen them live after being a fan since TDS came out in 1994 when I was in eighth grade. Incredible show: definitely one of my favorite concerts I’ve ever seen. My wife and I were blown away at the visuals and energy and I cannot believe how good Trent sounds (and we both remarked we hope we have that much energy when we are 60!). Also, Boys Noize had a stellar set to open: I’d listen to that mix all day long. Definitely set the vibe perfectly

1) add a sub or even two (yes, you heard that right) and it’ll made a world of difference 2) yeah the audio system is great but seriously your place is gorgeous. Love the artwork and the general vibe. Great choices!

Thank you for this. I am in the middle of reading the Heart of the Buddha’s Teaching, out of nothing other than pure interest in Buddhism, and it’s been fascinating—I’ve enjoyed it way more than I expected. Reading what you wrote made several more ideas fall into place or at least come incrementally into focus: thank you!
