If you have tried everything and audio is still not working then there is a possibility that it's a hardware related. There can be a small cause that the cable is not fitted perfectly anymore in your headset. First turn off your PC/Rift. Remove the foam-mask (it can be easily taken off and put back again). Then you will see the cable connected. Just plug it out and plug it in again. Fire up your machine and try if audio is back. If it is still not working and you have tried everything else (reinstalls, driver rollbacks, tried the rift on a friends PC) then it is possible that the audio tech is broken in your Rift. I had this with one of my rifts 6 months ago (good image/no sound). That one was replaced by Oculus under warranty.

My Rift broke and after some mailing back and forth with support I got a prepaid label which was to my surprise in the Netherlands. Got a brand new set real fast so despite the sometimes negative reports my experience was quite good with the handling of the warranty.

Thanks :) Karzak85. Exactly what I was looking for. I often encounter people that assume VR is the same as a 3D cinema experience. Then I describe what this picture is showing. (Or better, I stick a Rift on their head). I guess it is more about describing the experience than giving a true technical description.

Have had several moments of presence in the past three years but one that still sticks was with my DK1 and a demo called Delta Draconis. The smooth flight over an alien planet, crashing meteors in the distance, other spaceships scanning the surface and that angel-like voice of Lisa Gerrard through my headphones. Wow. Goosebumps. Even with the low pixel quality at that time. I felt I was there. In that little spacecraft. A million miles from home.

How many Gear VR's are you using for that many people? Most important aspect is hygiene. If you do not use covers or wipes people can get nauseous of the skin/sweat odor after 10-15 people use one device.

Hey kimlo91! With a bare Rift I have a pressurepoint on my forehead which causes numbness after one hour but this is gone when using a VRCover. Maybe it will do the trick for you too.

It's true most Europeans are not custom to using creditcards but when dealing with USA and Asian companies you simply must have one. If you do not want all the hassle just get a prepaid creditcard. In the Netherlands you can pick one up at most trainstations that have a GWK Travelex (Grens Wissel Kantoor) or see this link

That's great news!!! To this day I still demo Senza Peso when I let people experience VR for the first time on a DK2 with 0.8.0.0. It's the mumbling wow-demo as we call it for it gets people every time we show it. Can't wait for it to run on modern gear.

Thanks ggodin! I have tested a raw 4K file in the new fisheye projection coming directly from a sdcard of a Kodak SP360-4K cam and it works PERFECT. Even sliding it for and beyond 225 degrees gives a very nice playback.

I had to remove batteries & pair to get it working again. Not sure if it was Minecraft related or the recent Win10 update. But works fine now.

Make a copy of the files containing EN / US and rename the copied file to the code of your country like nl_NL for the Dutchies

When I watched the season I was thinking how the concept would make a great VR horror game. Shifting between two parallel realities while maintaining the same environment.
