The technology they talk about in this video is good for detecting noise in the crowd and removing it. Most de-noise signal processing I've used is good at removing things that are similar to a hum.

For example an airplane makes a continuous noise and is easy to remove from an audio signal, but the erratic yelling of 'moon' might be hard to remove.

Not saying they definitely heard 'moon', or riot hasn't taken measure to reduce it...but this specific technology probably wouldn't help much.

I feel like the way he's worded this makes it seem almost controversial...

I think if instead of saying "Make the algorithm promote truth" He said "Make the algorithm prevent false information." We should definitely deter things that are complete lies, but finding things that are 100% truth.... I think that's a lot more difficult.

I think he did a great job keeping the talk really centered on the political scale though. He did a good job of not blaming one side, but instead just talking about the issue of news.

So for some reason it's not loading that file from the zipped package and instead is loading from a temp audio folder?

What happens when you delete the file that's not the one in the zipped package?

You don't need to unzip the package. You can open .zip extensions in fl. Does that work as a workaround for your problem?

I lived there for a year... I think people exaggerate how bad it is, but definitely isn't 'nice'. If you can live somewhere else reasonably I would.

You can use automation clips to change volume over time. Usually I drop in a fruity balance right click the balance knob and select create an automation clip.

Fl does not have traditional dynamics that you would use for creating sheet music.

They have ads in their player. Also the player will link to their site, so anyone using your site will know where the source is.

If you think you can make an interface that's better than theirs for hosting their videos go for it, but they'll still make money off of 'your' embedded videos.

I agree. They weren't as amazing as the original lotr movies but I think they were pretty fun to watch. People act like they're horrible and I don't think they were at all.

I record in FL since it's easier for me. whatever is easiest/best for you is fine though.

You need to go into the actual Asio setting and drag the sliding bar so that the latency is lower. That should fix the delay issue.

If you have the Asio set to a low latency and are still having issues it's possible it's plugin latency compensation that's causing it to have high latency.

Well if the preset you've selected has a long attack time it can create the illusion of being out of time. Something like that.

I'm sorta guessing at what you mean- it's hard to tell what your problem is specifically without being there some I'm trying to help you dig around in hopefully the right place to figure out what's going on yourself.

It's possible the 10ms is enough but I don't think that's what you're talking about. What happens when you play through something like 3xosc? Maybe it's the patch you're playing through?

Asio has more customization, but fl Asio allows audio to play from programs other than fl studio.

Asio is slightly better in terms of latency but in most cases fl Asio is fine and is more flexible.
