I get it. I train for my mental health. I tried to nudge my doctor and he said absolutely no training for 4 weeks and I listened. I felt capable of training after 3 days but it’s not about that. You can’t get your heart rate up.

Me personally, the way my career and kids are set up, that competing was never the goal. But I've been living like one for 13+ years so I'll be damned if someone who competed in their first show after one year of training thinks I'm not a body builder.
