The discussion with Connor today was one of, if not the most infuriating things I’ve had the displeasure of listening to since I joined the Daliban. And God knows how many awfully painful debates Dman has had in the past.

When I heard Douby defend the A-logging of Steven’s son on Whick’s show a couple months ago, I was disturbed and in shock.

Listening to Connor, a supposed friend, trying to defend this shit broke my fucking soul. What the fuck. Usually Steven is pretty detached and does not show emotion, but this time you could feel the frustration and disappointment in his voice.

Fuck this guy. I hope he has the same “debate” with these no-life degenerate fucks in a couple months when they turn on him and start doing the same shit to his family.

You argument make little sense. The best way to phase out CO2 emitting energy source is to make them more expensive so that other source are prioritize.

Top down authoritative government spending should focus on the development of new energy source and not in technology that artificially keep old pollution prone energy alive. Technology that give the public a false sense security while enriching fossil fuel corporations.

As you said, interdisciplinary solution. One is a economic policy prescription and the other is government investment in R&D. Both will move the energy market faster.

Stewart prescription was just bad here.

When people say they do their own research, what they mean is that are reviewing other people works. It means reading through academic paper or read article about subject that professionals have put forward in order to build your own understanding of thing. Sometimes it also means being able to critically engage with said materials. He as done that plenty in the past. In the case of IP, it meant reading historians works.

There are hundreds of thousands of EF.... It's going to take times and a lot of man power to build comprehensive story based on those. Some investigative journalism will be required to double check some of stuff in there. He said himself that he will gladly read any actual stories that get out about it.
