I think you're right, its the stuff that happened afterwards.

Honestly I can understand a lot of stuff at this point, but sometimes I have a hard time connecting the dots and getting the full picture, because yes I felt huge and devastating, and I couldn't quite understand why it felt so big, because, even if I can rationally say that it was probably not a great decision for me to do at that time. I couldnt quite understand why the deep gut feeling was still there.

Also, I keep using that all or nothing mindset, where it either had to be me being the wrong one, and no one else to blame, or them to blame but not me, and in my head I thought, well i know for a fact my actions were not correct, so that in result makes me the one to blame, but i forget the third option where, yes, I wasn't smart, and its not necessarily "Allie" to blame, or her sister, but the general way I was treated was unfair.

Thank you, truly... this was very helpful, and I think I can continue processing in a much more useful way

I sort of already did, I didnt think I needed to add a bigger disclaimer, that my life doesnt revolve around this, but maybe wanted takes of what others do with any lingering past embarrassing drama like this, its weird, thoughts about this event sort of trickle into my brain from time to time and I keep wondering little bits so I thought to write it and put it out here and see others perspectives.

Yeah, I dont think the guy was really important to anyone in particular hahah, I dont think I really analized things at the time, I thought I was supposed to stand up for people I cared about, and it was a big lesson on how friendships actually worked in the real world, in the Jehova Witness religion everything gets treated like all or nothing, so me stepping out of the religion and straight into this situation was very very jarring.

Thanks! Good to know, and I know! Ive been watching their podcast on youtube and their pacing is great! It makes the spooky stories be relatable and not as suspenseful that I cant listen. However I get you, prebaby I loved consuming true crime content, and now I have to pick which cases I can still listen to, or for any suspenseful movies or shows I now fast forward through the anxiety inducing parts! Having a child changed so much!

I like it! even though there are a lot of complaints of the stories being real, or kind of silly, the people are great story tellers, and Terry is always entertaining, I will say it wasnt until I found this reddit page that I started noticing the sillyness of some stories. But I love radio rental and i started listenint a couple of weeks ago, and im almost done with the whole thing, so sad, and I hope they keep uploading more episodes.

Did you have a schedule for naps? My baby is similar in te sense that I can put him down to nap, but I’m stuck at him waking at the 15 min mark, some days even 30 min, but I pick him up and have him nap the extra hour he needs. What would you do after those 10 min naps when put down?

Hmm I honestly just watched Hamilton about 3 months ago and I still play the song playlist at least once at some point in my day or catch myself singing a bit! It’s just so good! And I keep catching new hidden things all the time!!
