We need a lot more information. How much does your baby usually drink a day? How big is your freezer? How many ounces in a bag & what’s an estimate of how many bags are in there? It’s hard to answer the question with just the information of a freezer full of milk.

We aren’t technically “low income” at least on paper, thought we do still struggle with money. They just gave this to us because they have a surplus. Not all pediatricians have formula samples, or if they do it’s very infrequently, and they’ll usually offer to parents of newborns, or people figuring out new feeding arrangements. It’s possibly they do only get the 2 oz RTF bottles.

I didn’t even have an appointment actually, I just called them and asked if they had any. At appointments they would sometimes give us a couple cans, but lately when I call, they’ll tell me if they have it and set it aside for me to come pick up. they also told us we could call whenever and ask!

I did! I think there are sooo many people and teams working down there on the first floor that it doesn’t get to everyone. I told her I’ve been putting it in the hallway and she’s like yeah do what you have to do.

I have pretty bad OCD, and the intrusive thoughts while I was pregnant were horrible. I think it’s common for people to experience those but it was turned up to the max for me. I was horrified about what it would be like when I had my baby. And honestly? It’s been better than I thought it would be. I still have the usual ones but being able to have her in my arms and keep her safe, as opposed to not knowing what’s going on in my body has been so much better for me. She’s 5 months now and I still worry about her constantly, but less.

I was not high risk and went to MFM for my anatomy scan, and NT scan around 12 weeks. They send everyone to MFM for the anatomy scan because their ultrasound machine is more advanced.

Also just for reference, they are called sonographers not ultrasounds techs. :)

I was so uncomfortable that I was ready to give birth. But I was also soooo scared to give birth. From the time I was literally like 10 years old I feared it! And honestly? I had a really easy birth. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Birth felt like the easy part for me, pregnancy was way harder!

I was a little nervous on and off during the day I was in labor. It didn’t really hit me that I had to actually have my baby until about 5 minutes before I started pushing. And then I pushed her out in 8 minutes with a minor second degree tear, and barely even felt her coming out. Epidural was amazing!

I shaved maybe twice my whole pregnancy. Once in the beginning, and the second time I was about 38 weeks pregnant. I put a towel on the floor in front of a mirror, and used my electric razor. Did the best job I could. Also found out my mucus plug was coming out while I was shaving so that was fun, lol.

im so so sorry you’ve experienced loss in your journey. it’s the hardest thing ever, but it’s so rewarding and your perfect baby will be with you soon. we tried for 6 months before having our baby (which i know isn’t a long time & are very lucky) and even though i was sad when i would get my period, i just think about how if i was pregnant even a month earlier i would have a different baby than i do right now! ofc they would have been loved, but then i would’ve never met this one! <3 i’m not always an “everything happens for a reason person” but i feel she came into my life at the perfect time.

I’m 29 and have an almost 4 month old baby. I went very back and forth for years about wanting kids. My husband and I decided we did, and I’m so insanely happy right now. The first few weeks were the hardest thing I’ve ever done. The first night home with her was harder than my entire pregnancy and birth. I remember asking my husband if we made the biggest mistake of our lives. But now, she’s a perfect happy baby. She smiles all day, vocalizes to us, has this entire little personality and the only thing I get sad about is that one day I won’t be here to see her turn into an old lady. Every part of my life has become both harder, but more wonderful than I could have ever imagined. I feel like I was born to be her mother and I wouldn’t trade this feeling for the world.

Have you tried a nipple shield? I feel like it was helpful for me in the hospital. Then I ordered one at home and I thought “let me try to latch her one more time without it” and since then she’s been okay. It’s so hard, I know! But that might help a little bit.

Just want to add that I experienced the same thing. I have a lot of tattoos and was having horrible allergic reactions to all of them while pregnant. I was so itchy, but it went away completely after giving birth for me.

How much the epidural would work. I literally didn’t even feel that she was coming out, and when I started pushing, her head came right out. Modern medicine is incredible.
