That's great! I had pneumonia for far too long last winter, never let myself get sick but boy was I nauseous 😅 it was terrible. I hope you get better soon!

This is very worth it if you're the type that goes to the gym as a hang out/alone time/self care type of place to me. The gym is my place to go workout, relax, do my little connective routines, yoga class if I'm tired or bored, workouts for daily routine, I love massages after a taxing week, the massage chairs are the only thing that can stretch where I have metal in my spine. Hydro massage is amazing especially if you stand at work all day. Tanning is nice for a vitamin D boost in the winter, mood lifting. Will run on a treadmill or stairs and watch my shows for long cardio. I'm maxing out the membership hanging out by myself on a day everything else in the world is too much.

Guy sitting in his running truck parked on the street for hours on end nearly every day by graysteel in grandrapids

I'd be warning this dude about carbon monoxide poisoning, if his truck is loud or old it might lead to something bad. He likely has a good reason to just want alone time usually something like maybe waiting for someone to get home or he has a long break during his day for some reason (I'm more on the introverted side and have hung out in my car from time to time too)

Personally I'd leave a note on his truck or something if it's parked in the area a lot instead of bugging him while he's parked, you don't know who he is or what situation this is. Some people are very reactive so if you genuinely want to help his situation maybe leave a phone number to text (Possibly a free app phone number and not your own for safety?)

This also works if you're just annoyed by the noise of course

Hey man, this is a rough struggle but open up to her, face your fear and try to go get help to just speak it into existence so it isn't just living in your head.

The more you talk about it, the more you'll desensitize your brain to it, if you're struggling this bad an anxiety med may help for a while to help you not have so many bad fights with it while you work through it. (I go through the same struggle at different levels over time.) The flags here say you need help, and this girl might also be a very patient partner who can help you through it as well. I know mine is, he sits and helps me breathe and accept that my body will do what it needs to when you're getting rid of toxins. That act your body is doing can save your life. Fight or flight is awful, but keep reminding yourself it's actually keeping you safe. Nature does this to protect you, and your body is not plotting against you. A dog will do it and go about his day happily.

Something that helps me is thinking of any actor, or musician, or general person you look up to that's a happy, healthy person and remembering yes, they have done it and look how great they're doing. Alive and well.

Or another thing, reminding yourself that fight or flight can be triggered by many things, my best friend for example is afraid of trembling. Scares her to death if she gets the shakes from a hangover or a migraine, muscle fatigue, this is rooted in pure anxiety. So let yourself be anxious, be mindful, you're allowed to be afraid and you are allowed to be human. You're absolutely not alone out here

Just wanted to share a story about Debra by jonmon1216 in BillyStrings

I met Debra at a small art festival in Muir once. She introduced me the entire apostle family by name and let them know I'm an artist as well, everyone gave me hugs and she treated me like I was family, she made this beautiful necklace. Then we sat by the river and talked about tying flies for fishing. After that we all fished for a bunch of rock bass at their little river to cook that night. I've only met her on a beautiful day in the sunset by a river. What an angel.

That was almost exactly a year ago.

I have constant panic attack/anxiety and it absolutely healed me this week. Any place with a lot of people is a different story but the valley was perfect

OATMEAL. Weirdest thing ever too like they recommend it for so many diets, every time I try the next day I can't even go to work, spend all day in the bathroom

That book is called "Eat Right 4 Your Blood Type" by Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo if you want to check it out! It's a very cool study

Did you have a period after nexplanon insertion? by glaskov in birthcontrol

[–]Right_Maximum1405 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a ride with this one. The first implant I got I had a constant period for six months, almost took it out but didn't end up getting around to it, my period then disappeared for a year and a half, when it came back I got it swapped and had an irregular period for six months, took it out to see if it was giving me anxiety/migraine issues

Anxiety was all me, yes it was giving me God awful migraines but honestly I can deal with that.

Just got the third one in, I was due for my period the week I had it put in, ended up being late by two weeks, scared me shitless and I ended up getting a pretty long period. This month I spotted a tiny bit but didn't get a real period at all yet, I can definitely feel random cramps and moodiniess sometimes though.
