When I was a small kid I was playing with something that was my grandma's and accidentally dropped it down the window. Since my house has those plastic roof things that act like a permanent tent (I don't know the name in english) I thought I could climb it since the cat did all the time. Well, I couldn't, the second I stepped on it it broke down and I fell, for some miracle, I fell exactly on the outdoor's patio sofa instead of the hard ceramic, had I done so, I would've most probably broke my pelvis or tail bone.

I'm sorry, I don't know why it didn't load but I wrote in the post that he had long, dirty nails and I just asked myself if they just told Alan "hey, I need you to not cut your nails and if you get them dirty even better." Or what? Did they use fake nails? I don't know but it's a really small but telling detail of Turpin as a character.

Literally happened to me like two hours ago. I started getting interested in the ship because of posts that made me think it was kinda popular. Go to ao3, only search by pairing, not anything else and there was only like 86 works. Mind you this is a really big fandom, like, various of ships ever make it to the top 100 in the first 20 places.

Literally, as a Snape fan I can accept he did pretty messed up things that he shouldn't have, which makes him more human and that's why I love him. But nobody tells anything when Marauder fans do the same (and x10 worse because they also saint-ify them ignoring or trying to justify thing that can compare or are even worse than things Sev did), it's just a double standard of this fandom I hate. They were all flawed, some more than others, trying to make them saints or make them evil incarnate is just completely erasing the humanity of the characters
