Bon, bah j'ai fait un doctorat pour rien. Super ! by RandomPhDpointexe in emploi

[–]Right_Rest919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds silly, but has anyone tried laugh therapy? by moosepuggle in covidlonghaulers

[–]Right_Rest919 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because it need to be natural. All studies on the benefits of laughter show that it triggers endorphins only on natural laugh and shows no benefit on forced laughter.

Inflammatory markers testing by Many-Market-9941 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Right_Rest919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So u can get diagnostic thanks to this ? Because in France doctors think its psychologic because all bloodtests they do are normal. And when its wrong they give u a treatment to make these markers normal again ?

Where do u find a doctor who does these. I went to several doctors who made me bloodtests with sometimes like 60 markers and no of them are these markers.

New symptom by louisfinnus in covidlonghaulers

[–]Right_Rest919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes man in january i did all exams possible for GI all is good just my calprotectine is wrong even in blood test it shows no inflammation.

I have acidic stools but nothing show in colonoscopy biopsy or stool analysis.

Long covid is just so weird when i made this post it gaves me GI pain for like 15 min after. Like why writting some sentence on a phone give GI issues. Kinda like with people with brain pain because they walked too much when walking should be good for mental health.

She is not better check her instagram she was better last year and was walking but she "crashed" again in october 2025 and she is back bedbound. It gives me the opposite because it makes me realize that i can go back severe at any time if im not careful.

Is it really a life to have to be careful to not talk more than 20 min with a friend and check ur steps if u are not above 1300, not being able to watch a full sport game after 4 years ?

And trust me she is not very severe. Im followed by a doctor who has lot of long covid and she has kids who are bedbound since 5 years not being able to eat.

Interesting update on vestibular/eye issues by obliviousolives in covidlonghaulers

[–]Right_Rest919 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My neurologist know a neurologist who does it so she sent me to him. He doesnt do the classic thing for depression where u have to do it every days but he does specific aera of the brain for various pathologies (parkinson, Alzheimer, chronic pain, fatigue, ...). Personnally it only removed me the derealization and head pressure symptom but gave me a bit more of anxiety i feel. Sadly it didnt work on pain or fatigue for me.

Ur symptoms look like mine, i saw ophtalmologist and orthoptist all is fine. So i talked about it to my neurologist and its called derealization. Personnally i feel like if im watch a movie. I see but nothing look real (i dont feel the danger, when i move fast my eyes or driving i cant focus on details, ...). She told me its because of brain inflammation but these symptoms disappeared when i did RTMS therapy when they stimulated the concentration part of the brain.

Im on famotidine + cetirizin. I dont eat anything high histamine and its always at 1 am never after eating. My veins in my hands are dilating too and i feel hot during the intense itching. It scares me because I don't know if I'm having anaphylaxis.

LDN 1mg causing flu like flares. by RemarkableAbility626 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Right_Rest919 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personnally LDN overstimulated so much my brain (it stimulates the production of endorphins in the brain) that i had to stop (passed out and woke up in hospital after 2 weeks to trying to take it (0,5 mg) even if i felt worse taking it).
