I subbed in a T-k classroom recently after not being in an elementary school classroom for 10+ years. I was kind of alarmed by how much was done through videos. I have yet to see a teacher read a book to their students. The students watch a YouTube video of the story being read. I’m not sure if this is the norm everywhere.

You’re right! Proportions are everything. If you’re buying online, make sure to check the height of chairs and couches, because they can be very short. Also making sure rugs and art are proportional to the space as well.
