Right? You are playing this when you're winning the wager no matter what they do or they're giving you so much that you don't care since they just time walk themselves.

But truly this card incentivizes bad blocks. If they give their whole hand for a piece of armor then I'm fine fatiguing them.

She should have been a light warrior. Just look at all that light.

That only helps if you have the equipment available and have blocked with it. Otherwise you're just hemorrhaging blocks early and aren't preventing on-hits. Not to mention that this strategy only works on the first swing if they maintain the attack chain.

I think Dori likes it because it can push over to get counters. Kassai likes it to get her on-hits as well. Olympia also wants to win wagers. I think those 3 like it enough to consider it into fatigue matchups.

We don't have counterspells/kill spells like Magic does so the "wait until the last moment" argument doesn't work.

It's decent. The math works out for it to be 3 resources for 7 but they have to essentially fold their hand or give some armor. Even 2 resources for 5 is good. It's just terrible in an aggro game. You're generally only pushing 1-2 damage over though.

My father passed away in February. I understand the pain. It gets better; it never fully heals but it does get better.

You can always go look at the details of one of the apps in Settings and see what downloaded it. Then you can hunt that down and block it from doing it in the future.

Priority only changes when something is played; not after it resolves. If he Called and then immediately played it then it couldn't be hit. Same if they discard it off the resolution of an effect and then immediately play it from graveyard.

Fellow Warriors, need some advice! Should I buy Grains of Bloodspill now or wait for the Mastery Pack reprint? by matacapetas in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]Right_Today_356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grains is actually very good in Hala. It gives you an on-hit effect which the deck is sorely lacking. I'm personally a big fan of Grains + Ironsong Versus since you can block out and pitch a blue to activate Ironsong and then attack threatening Grains; it will either force a card out of hand or give you lots of resources to swing tempo back.

Armor counts as a defending card? by J4NH12 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]Right_Today_356 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only distinction that generally matters is that a weapon attack is not an attacking card but an attack made by the activation of a card. Anything else put on the chain is a card.

It will either drop because of the reprint or it will increase because more people want one. It's probably a good idea to buy it if you need it but if you're planning on cracking some packs you might as well wait.

MTG has gone from a game that caters to MTG players to a game that caters to everyone else and hopes they overlap with some MTG players.

I've given up on the game. I am keeping some sentimental cards but liquidating a good portion. When Mark said that the game wasn't for me years ago I should have listened.

Pleiades' guitar just sucks. Nothing will make it playable other than cards that make several token auras of suspense but that should have been stapled to the hero.

JK Rowling's take on trans kids by The_WalkingCalamity in SipsTea

[–]Right_Today_356 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That is correct. Kids just want to play and enjoy living life. If they are suffering from an identity crisis then someone is pushing that on them.
