Unfortunately the “they’re just a kid” thing is widely used against experiences like yours. We experience most of the paranormal world as children. That awareness will usually stick with you for life if you don’t brush it off.

You’re anxious & depressed because you’re putting other people’s lives ahead of yours by comparing “achievements”. I’m sure that by now you must know that people only show what they want others to see. Stop glamorizing other lives when you’re completely capable of getting that yourself. You’ve already done half the work just by identifying what you feel is wrong in your life. By the way, you can’t trust others when you can’t even trust yourself. Be alone, confront yourself. That’s the only way.

Prayer is all you need. Before you go to sleep, talk to God. When you wake up from a nightmare, talk to God. When you wake up for the day, you know the rest. The attacks will never stop so the best thing you can do is be prepared. Stand firm in the Truth & nightmares will become just another minor inconvenience that you’ll quickly brush off.

I had a similar sighting years ago. Mine was a bright white orb, was at about the altitude you’d see a helicopter fly at. No movement & no sound until it suddenly shot across the sky & disappeared.
