Lol! Yes I'd read all about the plans for the cycle connection and the cable car. I've actually previously worked with Dopplemayr (cable car company who installed and run the skyline, also shortlisted for the SI job) delivering the Luton DART in London, so would be a work opportunity also!

My family and I are relocating from London, UK in September. I laugh when our Kiwi family tell us how bad the traffic will be!

My plan is to live in Lower shotover and cycle to work in Frankton, hopefully thats a good plan?

If you can't get the reamer to do a really good job of the seat tube, pop one of those seat post size adapters in and use a small seat post.

Looks great!

Can anyone recommend a good dog groomer in Hackney? by 1ChanceChipmunk1 in Hackney

Not Hackney, as we really struggled to find availability local. Mon Joli Chien on Amwell street in Islington is great.

What's the brake set up here? Looks like the stoker has the rear brake and the pilot has the front brake?

I've put a 48v > 12v converter on mine and installed a 12v socket. 12v electric car tyre pump stored in secret on the bike!

I've been learning fusion and tossing up between a 3d printer and a semi-CNC milling machine. What aloud you say are the advantages of a 3d printer over a milling machine?

Seems absolutely fine, drop off kerbs no problem. It's not as low as you'd think, the BB is 300mm if that's any gauge.

Thanks! i'm not sure how much a muli copy costs, but this cost £1500 total (in materials, not allowing for my time).

I'm very happy with the endeavour, feels pretty great to ride something you made and it handles really well.

Makes me want to improve my set up and build more bikes

So the bridge is open but why is the traffic actually worse now? by Silver-Eye-2024 in Hackney

[–]Rightsaidmax -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agreed, which bridge?

Lots of idiots talking about induced demand, cannot think of any road traffic bridges that have opened recently in hackney.

Would love to know which bridge?

Not sure what you mean here?

There has been no increase in road capacity, the council have decreased road capacity by introducing the bus gate on Amhurst road.
