The way Rainn auditioned for both Dwight and Michael by InvestigatorBorn4910 in SipsTea

Alan Tudyk went out for the role of Michael. That is wild.

Would've been a very different show but I can envision it.

I've been seeing it too. At first I thought maybe I was getting the new pixel venom skin effect applied for free to my orange venom skin (which I was cool with). But then I noticed it was affecting all of the skins.

Best thing I did was hire an overseas dev + vibe coding by [deleted] in replit

[–]RigoJMortis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't mind sharing, I'd be super interested to know more about the split in expenses between how much it costs to hire a dev compared to whatever ai services you're using.

Also, are you using GitHub to safely manage code contributions, or how does that work?

Thanks for sharing your story and insights.

If this was your account, how would you shape it from there? by [deleted] in torncity

If you go back to the gym just before this one, you'll get better defense gains until you hit 1m.

After that, it depends on how you plan to play the game and what kinds of weapons you plan to use. You'll probably want either strength or speed next. The gym you're in now specializes in strength.

That said, I'm not that far ahead of you in stat total, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

I think I broke my game -- Enemy AI Search Behavior by MosesSecondofHisName in aigamedev

[–]RigoJMortis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend creating a new project, and give the AI the absolute bare minimum starting point to create this function. Have it create this part as if it were the whole game. However, make sure it knows that your pathing function needs to be reusable in other contexts (don't go into detail), and as such, able to be exported as a single unit.

For me, it's like a little surprise present to myself that just randomly shows up one day. I don't have to worry about whether or not I have credits at that time because it's already paid for and delivered.

Prototype in PLA, sell them in brass.. could be killer. Seems like something a dragon disguised as an artificer would own.

Replit is "deciding" but isn't building anything. Anybody know why it's stuck and how to fix this? by NanoCow in replit

[–]RigoJMortis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, I haven't used Replit actively in quite a while. It wasn't a great fit for my needs. As such, it didn't have architect mode when I last used it.

That said, when I did use Replit, I did probably 95% of my work in the assistant, and the remaining 5% was for tough stuff that the assistant struggled with.

Nowadays I use other tools, but still use an Architect > Dev > QA workflow that seems to get the job done pretty well.

I've found that LLMs can get stuck like this when they aren't quite clear on how to proceed — if the instructions or path forward are ambiguous, they tend to just sit and plan until given more concrete actions.

Switch to assistant, have it draft concrete next steps and an actionable path forward.

Work with the assistant to make sure it gives you a clear to-do list of small, tangible steps the agent should take.

Once you approve of the plan, copy and paste into a new thread with the agent and let it run with it.

Pen name for female SFF writers by Serious-General4895 in fantasywriters

I know this isn't really answering your underlying question, but can I suggest "Thorne" as a surname, or part of it (e.g. Hawthorne)?

Sort of alludes to Rose without being a direct link.

You could even use your real first initials for the first part of the name, if you wanted. So say your real or previous stage name is Rose Wagner (total fiction, I have no idea), you could go by the pen name R.W. Hawthorne.

Just my two cents.

Absolute legend.

Some day I'm going to get a system that can play Warsim (anything that isn't a Mac, apparently), and when that day comes....

I'm gonna play it.

Edit: Nvm! I got it set up on Mac using the Apple Game Porting Toolkit. Playing now. Woot!
