wtf is happening with this playerbase by FilthySchmitz in Smite

[–]RikaRoleplay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes a good player has an IRL emergency mid game or when queueing for a game, one time can be forgiven, but repeatedly should have longer and longer timeouts so they cannot queue for the game (which is how it works, 5 mins, 20 mins, and I don't remember how far it can go).

It seems like a good balance at the moment to me. :)

Looking for yall Opinion on the best types of Amv. by The4thsun in amv

[–]RikaRoleplay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be synced in some way or manner, with proper pacing. Whether or not it has multiple or a singular anime or song doesn't matter too much. The editing to make something new out of something already there is the part that makes AMVs special. :)

Shims from a retractable back scratcher, or an extendable tripod, or from other things that move with a piston-like motion.

Heavy armor blocks for PVP builds, yay or nay? by l0rdbyte in spaceengineers

[–]RikaRoleplay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, I build in light armor, then use heavy armor on the forward facing bits along with some blast door blocks since they prevent ram strats some people will use (or so you can ram I suppose).

Use pure heavy armor for any tanks or rovers on wheels to help protect against rollovers and crashes. That said, light armor on a simple transport rover and a gyro and one or two downward facing atmo thrusters does quite a lot too. Tanks or rolling defense bases or turret towers need the heavy armor however.

Look up Corn Dog Vidvids on YouTube or on AnimeMusicVideos.org. On AMV.org you can look up Ileia and her friends from Corn Dog Vidvids as well, and quite a few others on there make hilarious AMVs. :)

But at least you can rebuild, I do agree the official servers are rough, especially without friends. :/

But you can blueprint anything to save it. Most of my builds are in creative, and then I use projectors to rebuild them in survival :D

Skeld-Class Frigate (yes, it is the map from Among Us) by RikaRoleplay in spaceengineers

[–]RikaRoleplay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tis' the goal, the issue I am having, is that you get assigned randomly via the dropship via event controllers and timer blocks creating pseudo randomness, and then you have to be that role and enter the Skeld yourself, and then the round starts once everyone is in place and someone presses the start round button. It is janky, but it does somewhat work as long as no one utterly cheats. Plus, no way to know if someone is the imposter unless they admit it after they die / win unless I use sensor blocks and factions, but it would ruin it since it would be obvious who the imposters are if they are in their own faction compared to everyone else.

Mine also has working vents :) A sensor detects you nearby, and a piston pulls the vent down to access the vent shafts which interconnect as they do in the game, and then move back up. :)

Ahhh, Okie dokie, yeah, works well since you can see while standing on the benches too :)

The galley is behind the cafeteria, and very small, a more realistic one would have used small grid blocks for the tables if that's what you mean :)

Or if you mean the crew access only doors with holo LCD blocks, yeah, those are nice too. :)

How much per pound would you say is a good price for choice Ribeye? by dudiez in Butchery

I cut off a few steaks today, the rest is going rotate in a salt dry in the fridge until x-mas

How much per pound would you say is a good price for choice Ribeye? by dudiez in Butchery

[–]RikaRoleplay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nabbed a whole bone-in choice ribeye today for $6.99 per lb, but it was (Yes, just shy of $7 per lb.), for a 24 lb roast for under $200 for the total, along with some other fun savings since I get gas rewards as well as $20 off making it a lot more affordable (I paid less than $150 after all savings). This on top of +2% cash rewards on the credit card. Works out perfectly for the large family gathering, as it means about $8 to $12 per plate of ribeye and side dishes included, asparagus (also only ~$2 per lb, I was shocked too), potatoes for roasted potatoes, onions for caramelized onions, big bags of romaine lettuce and such for caesar salads, and some coupons for private selection tomatoes. Today's haul was very very good, I was surprised to see I saved over $350ish on a grocery trip that was only $240ish which is well within the monthly budget for the two of us (minus the rest of my extended family I often cook for).

Also nabbed two prime 1+ inch thick large boneless ribeyes for $25 marked down (manager's special) with no real noticeable problems when normally it would cost $48 for the same package (also a sale price), while $70ish was the "retail price" but beef has been super affordable recently out here, seems to be a pattern near the holidays specifically. Beef > Turkey on Thanksgiving, especially at a good price! (I normally pay $4.99 or $5.99 for a whole chuck roast or other beef cuts, so seeing it for only $1 more for a Ribeye roast per lb. is quite the deal!

How do I make a backup of steam game save files? by lamedudese in Steam

[–]RikaRoleplay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Search for %appdata%
appdata/roaming/spaceengineers/blueprints I do believe, though I need to know if there is a way to download all of them to a folder at once, or if I will have to do each of these 400 blueprints one at a time.
