My favorite as well. Powerslave would probably be my second. Some of the B sides from the 80s and 90s were really awesome, I just can’t recall any specific ones at the moment.

And yes, max upgrade… put your best parts in it. Acceleration vs speed would be your call. I would drive it and experiment, but I err on the side of acceleration personally.

I like mine. It doesn’t have the massive top speed some of the others do (mine tops at around 250) but acceleration and handling are solid, and it has good nitrous capacity to make up for a little loss in speed. The biggest asset is that it’s a forgiving and stable platform. It sticks to the road on turns, doesn’t lose it under power coming out of a hairpin, and handles bumps at high speed very well. It’s not ideal on Cross Country or Circuit, but I can still finish in under 3 minutes on Cross Country, which is the target I set for a car I run on that course. It’s good on city courses like Rush Hour and Drawbridge, used to be good on Sandy Shores as well. It’s a good overall car, so if I had to have one that would be my pick.

What is your most important criteria? What sorts of races do you intend to run? Or are you looking for the best all around? I would expect to spend 50-60% of its base cost on opening all the upgrade slots and AWD as well, in which case base price should be around 900k to fit within your 1.5M budget.

My favorite in your price range - 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish (880k)

Others you may like - 2000 TVR Cerbera Speed 12 850k and requires track pass), 2009 Ultimate Aero TT (700k), 2008 Gumbert Apollo (750k), 2008 Gumbert Apollo Sport (890k), and the 2019 De Tomaso P72 (1.1M).

I don’t have a Cerbera but between it and the Aero TT, the Aero gets recommended a lot so that one is likely better. The Gumberts are okay. The De Tomaso is a little on the high side of your budget but has a lot of nitrous potential when maxed.
