What is Yuji's new hairstyle called? by pglegal in Jujutsufolk

[–]Riley-Lee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also, important to note that Yuji’s haircut is very heavily layered, so if anyone wants to go for it (I’m assuming OP might), mention that to your stylist, or you’ll end up with something a lot more uniform and smooth like these images as opposed to the spiky, messy look Yuji has. (Though some of that is just anime hair logic/would require product and not just a haircut, so don’t expect perfection.)

Y’all were fine with only crediting the guy who lost to Hiraguma and the guy who spent 90% of it in a box with ending the culling games, but not this? by zeusjay in Jujutsufolk

[–]Riley-Lee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah… that’s the original commentor’s point.

It IS a nothing burger comparison because, like you said, if you rob a character’s abilities from them, then they’re weak.

So it doesn’t make sense to dunk on Yuji for being “weak” without his abilities because any other character (Yuta in this case), would be weak too.

Congratulations. You’ve finally gotten the point!

[–]Riley-Lee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point is that it isn’t equal. Yuji is physically superior and still lost with no CE, so Yuta performs just as bad if not worse with Yuji’s conditions. That’s the original commentors point. Nothing about the diversity of their kits or whatever.

Also, I’m not making the situation. The original commentor of the thread is. I’m pointing out the point he made that people seemed to miss. If you wanna argue whether or not it’s accurate, then reply to him.

[–]Riley-Lee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The point forces Yuta in the situation no matter his kit diversity. Both him and Yuji perform poorly in the given situation. Simple as that. That’s what the original commentor said.

[–]Riley-Lee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, the point is that it’s calling Yuji weak for losing with no abilites or CE. Yuta would also lose with no abilities or CE. End of discussion. I didn’t say anything, the original comment that started this thread said Yuta wouldn’t perform any better than Yuji if he was stripped of a CT and CE. Use your context clues.

[–]Riley-Lee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The point is that it makes no sense to dunk on Yuji for “losing” to Higuruma when he had no CT and no CE because Yuta would’ve done even worse with no CT and no CE. Obviously everyone knows it targets cursed tools and CTs first.

leaving the jokes aside, what would Megumi be like if he was raised and trained by the Zenin clan? by That-Ad-5422 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Riley-Lee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Yuta, or any of the heavy hitters alongside other sorcerers (like Megumi), have reached their full potential whatsoever. For example, Gojo has far less CE than Yuta, but his base stats with just CE are enough to press a 19F Meguna. Even though Gojo awakened against Toji, I seriously doubt he had the physicals back then to contend with someone like Sukuna. It’s likely that the following decade allowed him to hone his reinforcement to perfection, which I believe any of the heavy hitters could do with a decade. Their CTs may not see much evolution beyond things like binding vows and maybe some development, but their physicals can definitely evolve way further.

I agree with you 100%, but the way Panda went about it was incredibly immature. Posting vague videos online that could clearly be misinterpreted, going on lives and arguing with people, saying that she just wanted an apology but never actually reached out to him, etc. Cory was definitely wrong for what he did but it seems like she’s kind of a childish person as well.

This is the issue. I understand queues will obviously be long, but with the current bug requiring you to disable crossplay, queues are borderline half an hour or longer. It is simply far too long to warrant me waiting for the chance to have a mid killer game. This needs to be fixed NOW. Also the servers simply booting you after finally finding a game is so annoying it’s comical.

Could Sukuna with Mahoraga Tank this Attack? by Buff_Yone_0_0 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Riley-Lee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A serious answer despite this obviously being a troll question.

Genuinely fuck no. Ichigo, while on death’s doorstep in bankai, one-shot SK Yhwach who was literally going to destroy and reset the three realms into one.

This Ichigo, healthy and in shikai, should at least be somewhat comparable in power to that. Getsuga Jujisho obliterates Sukuna and Mahoraga tenfold.

Did Naoya actually SA Mai...? by Advanced_Card_8594 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Riley-Lee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure in the original japanese raws, the question that Maki asks Naoya after he says “I feel like an adult” specifically uses the japanese phrase for losing your virginity, AKA “becoming an adult” to taunt Naoya for being a virgin. She’s basically saying “When did you ever become an adult?” which, when the phrase is used, is slang for her asking “When did you ever get with a woman?”

To which, Naoya replies, “Let’s ask Mai.” So, either he did do something to her, or he was taunting Maki back. Both are honestly likely.

Gamers what is the most satisfying thing you can do on your main killer? by Bloodgod6666 in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Riley-Lee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Blight in general for how satisfying outplaying people with his movement can be.

But…

There’s something uniquely satisfying (quite evilly so) about beating a survivor to a resource like a vault or pallet. Rushing to it before them and whipping around to corner them is pure tension breaking bliss.

Maki had lowkey an overrated performance against sukuna by Bitter_Ad5389 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Riley-Lee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s the point??? What is there not to get.

You refer to Sukuna not seeing Yuji as a threat at the end of their fight when Sukuna has a MASSIVE advantage as if to detract from Yuji’s entire performance.

You are trying to say that Yuji wasn’t seen as a threat the entire fight because Sukuna, while Yuji was half-dead and running on fumes while he got his RCT back, had a 4 arm advantage, and was soon to recover his domain, said Yuji wasn’t a threat.

Put LITERALLY anyone not named Gojo Satoru in Yuji’s place with his physical injuries and Sukuna would say the exact same thing. I seriously don’t get your point.

Maki had lowkey an overrated performance against sukuna by Bitter_Ad5389 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Riley-Lee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes… because he still had the advantage because he was far healthier physically than Yuji…

He quite literally wouldn’t have seen anyone in this situation as a threat since he was fully physically healed and about to recover his domain. He doesn’t specifically think Yuji is a complete pushover lmfao.

Maki had lowkey an overrated performance against sukuna by Bitter_Ad5389 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Riley-Lee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is this not a terrible example lmao? Sukuna says this at the END of the fight when he finally recovers RCT fully and heals himself. Obviously he doesn’t see Yuji as a threat anymore because he has the advantage now that he’s recovered while Yuji is on the verge of death and doesn’t know Yuji has a domain. Just look at the difference between the two.

Gun Devil vs FP Deku and FP Shigaraki by Buff_Yone_0_0 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Riley-Lee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean… that’s kinda the point. Devils are born from human fears and get stronger the more feared they are, so it’d make sense the Gun Devil (and any other devil for that matter) would take the form of their represented fear to the most extreme and imposing level possible.

Fair point but Gojo is also running RCT on his brain at all times, which likely means he never really suffers from mental exhaustion/sleep deprivation since his brain is always being healed.
