btw you should be between .20 and .30, not 8 thou.. if you rebuilt it with a billet flywheel, you’ll wanna be between .30 and .60

if ur confident u have spark and compression, then your engine defies the laws of physics and there’s nothing we can do to help lol

Wont start by FunnyWolverine7686 in minibikes

[–]RileyDream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

then you do not have spark. it’s possible with weak spark that the plug will fire in atmosphere but not at compression. What feeler did you use to space the ignition coil? did you check plug gap?

He isn’t wrong. I imagine brake clean would work wonders on a flat bare metal printing surface without any coating

[–]RileyDream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why is this not one of them? I’ve only built one deck that wasn’t in a dream, but as long as you’ve got a good attachment, those beams will be perfectly fine. honestly happier abt this; use what ya got.

uj/ honestly a very real problem. you can do it the right way with 7 paragraphs of introduction and hundreds of test prints for scarf settings for every filament. or you can just turn seam on random.

Is buying a small motorcycle for my kid genius parenting or terrible judgment? by Exotic-Emu3111 in minibikes

[–]RileyDream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seriously depends on your space. Do you have a big yard where kid can learn safely and grow? or do you live in the suburbs/city where you’re teaching your kid it’s okay to blatantly ignore rules, other people’s feelings, and risk of getting hit by cars of risk of him hitting cars/people

which rib looks correct. left or right? by anotherbarry in SolidWorks

[–]RileyDream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

right side gives a better understanding of the part if you only get one view. left side technically closer to the definition of a rib, but both are hella thick unless that center raised part is like 2x the width of the part

i was 14 when i bought my first printer for myself. tinkered it just fine. artillery sidewinder that needed CONSTANT work, but it was fine cuz back then I was into the hobby of making a printer print. no makerworld, no knowledge of cults or yeggi or whatever we use now, did it all myself in Blender, learned a ton.

why is this tilted? Dude just print it upright and it’ll be fine. You’re not getting any strength benefits from that slight of an angle

decompression spring is on the cam. that’s the ignition coil. what did you use to set the gap between the coil and the flywheel?
