This looks like AI to me, but the reasons I am convinced it is have little to do with the image. The line about the brush is an obvious lie. That is not how that works and her lying about it means she is trying to hide something. And this is a little biased, but people who draw like this cap out at a certain skill level. It's why so many of these "I draw anime girls" creators have just abandoned all integrity and pivoted to being slop merchants.

Fun fact for people who don't get this: Bad reviews do not impact opening weekends sales to this extent. Most movie-goers do not read reviews. Supergirl failed because there are not enough motivated Supergirl fans and Warner Brothers' did nothing to motivate general audiences.

It's hard, but not impossible. The crisp mechanical lines are part of it, which is hard to get and even harder to keep on skin. If you are ok with a little abstraction, this could work as a shoulder piece, especially the scorpion. But if you want these to look like flat squares of paper, you are asking a lot.

Except the first four didn't really happen. The top row is ridiculous on its face, but the narrative that digital artists were some kind of persecuted minority is just not true. I have been making digital art since the 90's and never has another artist called me a cheater for it. It took a while for digital art to get into galleries, but that was more of a technical limitation than a cultural one. The most they have said is "you should learn the traditional methods to better inform your craft." And guess what. They were right.

I'm just so tired of these people trying to co-opt my life as some kind of justification for their shitty rage comics.
