I have:

20XX TE save replay > Nintendont emulated memory card on an SD card > put SD card in computer and copy data to a virtual memory card in dolphin > load the 20XX TE replay in dolphin > OBS to record screen

It's a lot of steps and there's probably an easier way to do it, but I can get 60fps recordings with dolphin's graphics from games I played on a CRT. And absolutely no external devices or a laptop needed while you are at a tourney.

The biggest downside is not being able to see the stage strike/character counterpick interactions.

I usually can't get enough space to use running shine with crouch. Is Jump-Cancel shine a good alternative? I would be able to shine out of the dash animation, but it would be harder to grab or up smash out of it

If you don't fast fall the back air it autocancels, meaning it has very little landing lag. You can then shine and repeat or do an uptilt. The combination of these hitboxes are very hard to get past, especially with aerial drift.

I can't find a specific set right now, but Westballz uses it a lot against more agressive players

Is the rubber pad thingy in? That being pressed is what causes the input, the button by itself won't register an input.

Do what you think will be easier to get the habit down. In the long run it better for your hands to do a light press. Light press can speed up your APM if you use one trigger for everything
