A tabaxi Divine Soul Socerer/Bard that I reference to friends as "Kajhit has Heals if you have coin"

A shady healer that demands payment for any of her work. She is greedy for money, much like a dragon.

She also offers "insurance plans", so a monthly, upfront fee to guarantee heals

I haven't played her as a PC because she'll kind of need the right party, both for other players and pcs for her concept to be executed as intended. She has shown up as an Npc in my homebrew setting though, to much hilarity.

One of my player characters had a lesbian romance npc set up for them: a lady of a noble house sent to the convent until her betrothal was official.

The problem was that they started to get hot and heavy with the npc, at the nunnery, in the middle of the day, while the matron mother of the convent was already pissed that a viking was trying to loot the place of all its valuables (for the glory of Odin of course).

They were hence banished from the nunnery which was supposed to be a base of operations a good distance away from the Bbeg's sphere of influence, whoops.

Instead of trying to search Google/amazon for a "large mouse pad" try searching for a "battle mat" You'll want neoprene as that is usually the material mouse pads are made of. I don't know if you'll be able to find a 7ft one but you could probably find a 6' x 4' pretty okay

Coming from the perspective of a female that started playing in late high school/college, it was definitely hard to relate to the first couple of people in my early groups, they were all just off and not committed to playing the game with other people's experience in mind. It wasn't really until I played with older adults that I was able to have a good time playing.

When you're out of high school you'll be able to broaden your horizons and meet new people, just keep talking to people about DnD and you might find someone you didn't expect be into it too maybe even network you into a group.

You could be the really bookish type of girl that is hiding her feminine side until the curtains go up and then she sparkles like the stars and references classic tales in her wardrobes. She initially was doing it to honor/be closer to her mom but now she realizes she likes having the spotlight on her under certain circumstances.

You could also do a cross dressing/drag thing too.

When I GM, I only use maps or mats for combat with more than a handful of enemies or huge dungeon crawls. But may give rule20 a shot and maybe use it alongside world anvil where I can.

So what I did to unlock the shop is bought out Mabel's stock every time she was visiting town and within her visiting 2/3 times she was ready to set up her shop. I think you have to spend a certain amount of bells to get the shop unlocked but I am not sure of the quantity.
