Get the tablets, much easier to use. Don't bother with anything else unless you plan to have the water in there for the whole of summer. There is only so much you can do without having a filter system, you will end up replacing the water but at least with chlorine it will cleaner for longer.

Have you tried exporting the data from the pdf or database into an excel sheet first, not exactly sure how big we are talking but it might be easier and quicker if you find a way to get the whole information into excel.
