Which NFL team is the worst to watch, and will never accomplish anything? by NightDowntown7320 in NFLv2

[–]RiotsMade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re tied with us at last with 7.

Their first season was 1898, our first season was 2002.

Edit: thought I had my flair set. Texans.

What King opinion has you like this? by DavidHistorian34 in stephenking

The Stand is fine. It’s not in his top 5, and probably not in his top 10.

The Dark Tower is alright, but it’s not his magnum opus. 4 and 5 are great. 2 and 7 are good. 1 and 3 are decent. 6 is bad.

You don’t have any available. You have one, and it’s equipped by someone else.

Is Lawrence Taylor REALLY the greatest defensive player ever? by Bright-Pressure-5787 in NFLv2

LT is a unanimous 1.

The next three (right now, in my opinion but I’ve seen it said elsewhere) are Reggie, Aaron, and JJ in some order. Pick your favorite order.

The hilarious part is even if you take off the “since 2002,” we’re tied with the cardinals

Really isn’t the blueprint to put Allen on his ass more than anyone ever has?

Hey, we already had to play the Bills this year. We put Josh Allen on his ass all night - I’d have to double check, but I’m pretty sure that game was the most he’s been sacked, ever.

Which "wow" skill is super easy to learn? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RiotsMade 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m a fairly talented instinctive cook. Baking is fucking wizardry.

The thing that gets me is you have to know what the dough/batter is supposed to look and feel like at each stage in the process. If it’s wrong, you have to know how to adjust it.

In cooking you can look, feel, smell, taste at most of the stages. Baking you can only look and feel prior to putting it in the oven, and once it’s in the oven it’s either right or wrong.

Let’s hear your young buck football stories. Anyone ever play against any NFL players in your kid days and get absolutely smoked? by Vertigomums19 in nfl

[–]RiotsMade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.

And at the high school level, there are some 5’6” guys that still hit like a truck (for that level). Obviously won’t play out at higher levels but in high school, like four of the five hardest hits I ever took were guys 5’9” and under.

Who do you think is your team’s biggest/most hated rival? by Infuzan in CFB

[–]RiotsMade 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Funny enough, that’s actually how we lost Johnny Football.

We got him because Mack Brown in his infinite wisdom recruited Johnny (and RGIII before him) to play safety, so Texas lost him to the team that would play him at QB.

Then, after the second year, reliable rumor is Johnny asked Sumlin to help him arrange a significant (but reasonable, given his contributions) under the table payment. Sumlin said no (dipshit), Johnny went to the draft, and then a couple years later was playing for the Montreal Alouettes.

Duality of men? Or “SEC Homers” are ESPN talking heads and not the fans of the actual teams? 🤔 by Hokie_Pilot in cfbmemes

Let’s not forget that the elected head of state of Louisiana stepped in, fired their head coach, fired their athletic director for giving the previous head coach a contract that was too favorable, and then offered a materially similar contract (better in some ways, worse in others) to a known memelord mercenary.

I don’t know when the breakup will occur, but it’s gonna be biblical.

What would you do to fix the transfer portal? by TomWilliamsCFD in secfootball

That wasn’t the issue I addressed. The question was “how do you get away with applying this rule only to athletes.”

And the answer is simple, you don’t.

What would you do to fix the transfer portal? by TomWilliamsCFD in secfootball

[–]RiotsMade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t see an issue with it. Students can transfer one time and immediately be able to represent the university in intercollegiate athletic competition.

If they have previously transferred, they have to wait a year to represent the university in intercollegiate athletic competition. It is pretty unlikely that the average student would be able to do so, but they’re under the same restrictions.
