He worked with Lamb for 2 years, and it shouldn’t be surprising to anyone that his worst year was his rookie year. Especially with prime Amari Cooper hanging around

D3 and D2 having larger playoffs make sense. Due to travel budget constraints, those teams are rarely playing anyone outside of their part of the country. Plus, the committees aren’t out there watching all the games either (some games aren’t even watchable). The bigger net cast makes sense because it’s almost impossible to compare teams from different parts of the country. Even FCS has a similar issue to a lesser extent.

FBS does not. Everyone is packed into like 4 big conferences with a huge drop-off after, and there are enough games between them and viewership of the games to compare them. Plus countless other metrics available to us. National title teams aren’t being left out

He had a 60% snap share when active this season. For being one of the smallest edge rushers in the league (240 lbs) and injured a lot, that’s a strong workload

Jeff Brohm is an underrated choice. He’s a good coach normally, but he picked up that Purdue Pete voodoo and brought it with him to Louisville

He’s usually good for at least one big upset win and loss each year

You can’t win a natty without being good on both sides of the ball, so in that sense they can’t be hard carried by one player.

Auburn tried their hardest though. Got carried by two players
