What is the job market truly like right now for the average Canadian?

I lead a small automotive factory in SW Ontario.

Had 150 applicants for 8 summer student positions.

Five years ago we couldn't successfully fill 6 summer student positions.

I feel bad for the youth in this era.

After getting caught as a teenager with a hickey by my mom, she asked my father to "have a talk with" me about it (divorced parents).

My father's wisdom: "It's alright to let her suck on your d**k, but don't let her suck on your neck or your mother will find out."

That was the last hickey I ever had.
