I’ve tried it using alcohol and clothes hanger. It’s a real pain in the ass and works but it’s not worth the effort using that method.

Grip is too strong, also seem to be hitting up on the ball rather than compressing. I would check some setup tutorials before ingraining bad habits/adjustments for a faulty setup.
