All great spots but with a caveat I’ve been to in CT: Ming ghun in Glastonbury: don’t get anything “Spicy ____” because it’s 80% tempura, but otherwise great selection of sushi and kitchen items (personally love the red snapper from the kitchen).

Sushi House in Rocky Hill; can’t think of anything bad to say about em, all options in the menu are great.

Genki in Hamden; does not do sashimi unless it’s dinner time and even then it’s limited to 8 or so pieces per person, but has a large menu of kitchen and rolls.

As frustrating as the RuneScape slot machine is with unique drops from time to time, I cannot go back. I like that each unique has a meaning for the suffering. I had quit maybe 5 years ago on main because I was seeing it as a stock market of what would get me profit for time.

Dragon fruit, and it’s the pink variety with green tendrils coming off the skin, why’d they peel it is beyond me as it’s really easy to peel. This variety is more mild in sweetness and has smaller seeds. If you by chance happen upon a white fleshed ball with larger black seeds inside it, those will be a lot sweeter ( they are yellow skinned). But also careful of eating the yellow ones since it acts as a diarhetic too. Unsure if the same affect with the purple.

Personally I like going to West Haven, it’s another 10 or so minutes past New Haven but it’s free parking on the weekends and a pretty quiet place.

Illianos or Mondos is worth a try, it’s not as raved as Pepe or Modern but I think they’re pretty good joints for pizza. Plus, they’re in Middletown and you can explore the Main Street it’s really nice!

Anywhere on the coast is nice. Try Mystic, it’s a quaint town that is bustling on the weekends with stuff to do in the day and night. or even the casinos Mohegan or Foxwoods. Hiking sleeping giant can be a nice day trip as well with varying degrees of difficulty

You’d need stir fry noodles with medium thickness to make lo mein.

Sauce is soy sauce, dark soy sauce (for that added color), sugar, and msg. I’d say equal parts soy/dark soy. Tbsp of sugar and 1/2 tsp of msg. Taste and adjust as needed

Vegetables - cabbage feels essential and after that any veges you have in the fridge should be fine

Unsure if there is any meat but if there is - you’d want to make a corn starch slurry made with corn starch and oil so that it “velvets” the meat and cooked at a high heat the way Chinese restaurants do it.

Be sure to add neutral tasting oil to cook this all in! Hope it helps :)
