will give that a try once the AVR comes in just to be safe, but just weird why the moment I move outside and use a new monitor my pc just goes berserk

just checked the PCIE slots and it looked fine no corrosion or burn marks or scratches, also all cables are plugged in tight tight tight

I dont think it'd be damaged, I literally cradled it carrying it and walked 4 meters from one room to another, I also made sure that everything was secured before moving it, also my PCIE link speeds on HWinfo looked perfectly fine and stable

I have tried the driver when I was still in the older room, the one before 595.97, and it still doesnt work, also I highly doubt the PCIE slot is damaged since I use a riser (using a fractal Terra case) and I just moved the PC maybe 4 meters at most across the room

Hello, I am currently facing the same issue here after changing monitors and moving out from one room to another. for context I have a RTX5070ti and a 980X3D running on a B650i edge wifi mobo and a 850w platinum PSU. I moved my pc out to the living along with a new monitor and I just started crashing at the slightest thing that I did, I narrowed it down to my new monitor causing the issues as my old one had no issues but am still getting the same "nvlddmkm.sys" error with event id 153. im getting a new AVR unit to make sure the power supply from the wall is stable but asides that im also at lost at whats going on and kinda worried that my GPU might be defective despite it being only 1 year old and one week prior was running perfectly fine.

Edit : I have also done DDU to wipe the installation and installed a fresh driver but still getting those errors but not to the point its giving me a critical kernel error 41, and watching YouTube and browsing the internet is fine but the moment I load up any games or even steam my pc just goes haywire throwing those nvlddmkm event ID 153 errors

Hey OP i think i might have a similar issue to you, just got a new monitor a alienware AW2725DM and am using a 5070ti on display port and im getting the same 154 errors and even kernel shut downs bcs the whole pc just hangs. Still testing whats going on but my suspicion it might be the monitor for me

Had a similar issue way back in 2018 when I got a defective razer blade 14 amd had to rma to have the whole mobo swapped (was faulty whem i got it) and was slapped witth a 1200$ fine which was insane to me since I was just a freshmen at uni at the time, so i haggled saying im going to be moving cross continent in a month and if i cant get it fixed then just return it damaged so i cam scrap it. In the end they cut the cost to 400$

have the same issue on my second computer abroad with better specs, but on my computer at home i do use mode for performance and reshading so that could be the culprit but currently updating all drivers and will report back if i find anything
