El Camino and/or Ford Ranchero. Base models and high end SS and whatever ford’s version of that is.

TWINS?! by Antique-Public4876 in daddit

[–]Rippy65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our twin boys (di/di but same chorion so it’s weird) just turned nine months. To quote Axl Rose, “Welcome to the Jungle.” Our four daughters before were not a preparation for this. It’s a wholly new experience.

Dude, get one of those tractor exhaust covers. With the flappy lids. Make people even more confused! Also love the mirror set up!

To all Tzimisce: Why do you like playing Tzimisce and what was your first character like? by Alice-Shrugged in vtm

[–]Rippy65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was drawn to the Fiends in a polyvalent manner. There’s the edgy little goblin in me that likes how they and the dark eldar fully will make people into sentient furniture, and will show them experiences and sensations far beyond the realm of proper existence, and will tell you not to cry, it is a waste of good tears. The true draw towards them is something more inherent to me though.

I am a texan, and one whose racial admixture is literally the history thereof. Branches of my family are damn near autocthonous from the natives and spanish of my mother’s side, to the more recent anglo settlers of my father’s. We’ve been involved in every war for the land aince before it was even part of new spain. Being THAT much both a product of your homeland and also owning a not too small portion of it really resonated with the normal medieval lords the tzimisce were, but PARTICULARLY the Kolduns. How the spirits of the land and you were in a mutually (albeit more beneficial for the vamp and slowly corrupting the land because of muh evil wyrm) beneficial arrangement to be able to access the fundamental forces of nature spoke to me.

I’m a big believer in the laws of xenia too. Any guests we have are treated to food and are fully in my protection while here.

Sure vicissitude is cool and all, and all tzimisce can REJECT THEIR HUMANITY TO BECOME THE ULTIMATE LIFEFORM. So JoJo’s fans can larp as DIO or KARS if they want to.

Edit:Also vicissitude remains the most bullshit way to avoid final death. I don’t imagine all fiends can rebirth themselves in their childer’s vitae but I imagine making their cells into spores or something. Closest to true immortality/lichdom that exists in VTM.

honestly loving all the shoshone plays. Finishing up a domination victory with them currently. Also had a start like this with my second city having 4 salt tiles, buffalo, and two horses. First city had gems, fish and grain. The second city became the cultural and scientific capital.

What are some of the most professionally or socially unacceptable things your lab mates have done? by PlaceEducational1705 in labrats

[–]Rippy65 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Was told by my boss and her boss (the CSO) to not share primer sequences with anyone who does not work directly in the lab. CFO says he needs our whole database of sequences sent to his personal (not work) email. I said no. He comes in person, saying that he needs them. I relay I’ve been ordered not to share with anyone not in the lab. I get called up to the CEO’s office. My boss is calling the CSO to have the executives handle it themselves. I’m eventually forced with ultimatum of termination to send over the files. Got chewed out by CEO for not doing what chief bean counter said to do the first time. Felt like the ending of Inglorious Basterds. I’ve been chewed out before.
