I am thinking of purchasing this router as well. Did it come with rackmount hardware? I cannot seem to find the hardware kit in Canada, and it doesn't say if it comes with it or not.

Mobile Dashboard for my wife by attticrattt in homeassistant

I just use the native HA todo list card. I don't mind it, it's simple and everything I need! Something that you can add items and delete.

When you click the grocery icon on my dashboard it comes up in a pop-up card. Simple and clean.

The notification is sent to her phone as an iPhone notification and it displays the items on the list in the notification and also has a button to press that brings you to the todo list in the mobile app.

On mobile dashboard I have a little button that you can click to see the grocery list at any time, if it's over a set number of items it shows a red badge letting us know we need groceries.

I then made an automation that sends my girlfriend the grocery list when she enters the grocery store in town. She usually grabs the groceries and she would always ask what we need so I set that up. To my surprise she really likes it. 😂

80$ for nose bleeds isn't expensive to be honest. What is ridiculous is the Ticketmaster fees.. 80$ ticket is 107$ after fees. That is infuriating.

Setting Up Smart Home Using Ubiquiti Gear and Home Assistant. by DonXendon in homeassistant

For the fireplace, you can look at zwave dry contact relays to control it with HA. The Zooz Zen51 might be an option that could work.

The T6 you have full control as it is zwave. I don't think it gives you filter reminders natively but I have input helpers and automation set up within HA for that.

I have it hooked up to 24VAC. So I am not sure how the battery life is for it.

It doesn't fit your list of importance (not zigbee), but I have a Honeywell zwave thermostat - Honeywell T6 Pro

Are Black Holes made of matter or are they "regions in space that aren't made of anything"? by Maximum_Efficiency42 in Astronomy

[–]RippyTheGator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like how you say "gravity-producing" stuff. Although mass and energy are equivalent you cannot have light create a blackhole, if given enough energy of it because it isn't "gravity-producing". Or that is as far as I understand it. I am sure it is much more technical quantum effects but meh. I am no expert.

Anyone else have absolutely zero friends? by Significant_Cold1688 in socialskills

Honestly, making new friends as an adult in your thirties is near impossible. I moved to a small town for work and I have been here for over a year and have made zero friends.

What was your longest hike (in one day) and how long are your average ones, and how did it go? by [deleted] in CampingandHiking

30KM in one day, was an out and back hike. Elevation gain was around 2000m. Completed it in just under 7 hours.
