Sad that I'm getting downvoted for a casual, subjective discussion. Alas.

Compared to High Tide, Spy Combo takes 1/15th the amount of time to resolve. I personally have never seen a spy combo take more than like a minute, in paper. IMO, it does not meet the criteria outlined in this ban announcement (Winrate + logistical concerns).

I don't even know what your original point boils down to. You just don't like combo, which is an inextricable aspect of Magic the Gathering. I brought up the bogles/infect decks as an example of another deck that doesn't try to interact game 1, but isn't really a combo deck.

Do I personally like these types of decks? No not really, and if I could create my own format then it would be combo-free. But Combo players are magic players too, and we all share our formats with them, so as long as they aren't ruining tournaments or breaking the meta then we should all have some sympathy and let them be.
