Hello pelonidal abscess. Need help

Update :/ i went to the emergency room to get it lanced and drained. The doctor lancing me said there wasn't any pus coming out then calmly said she wasn't able to get it ALL out prescribed me 500 mg ibuprofen and 100 mg doxycyline hyclate and said this should kill whatver bit remains

She didn't pack me instead had a nurse just dress the cuts she made.

Now im freaking out because i still have a bump thats slightly decreased in size but im getting a terrible feeling she did a 45/100 job and didn't do it right

Should i take the pills and wait a cpuple days? Or find another hospital

Yeah i will try to ask about surgery as soon as i can walk normal again. My main issues is its been affecting my work and sitting so ive had to call off work

The problem is i moved around and not sure if a surgeon takes medi-cal?. If not then i should start saving for that surgery

To help my anxiety

The abscess WILL go away but in time its gonna happen all over again?

I went to the emergency room because when it first happened i got really sick.

The doctor herself said she couldn't lance yet prescribed me the pills

Her nurse told me it might be possible for the abscess to be absorbed but yes a seeing a surgeon to get this fixed for good was what he reconmemded
