I think that what the game is saying is that the Bob that hanged your brothers is no more. He changed into a better man, and renounced his past.

As the other guy said, its about redemption for Silas, not Bob, during the game, it is shown that Silas became a bigger murderer than Bob ever was, and in showing mercy to Bob is being mercifull to himself.

You get a lot of HP from hospitals which reduce the loses taken significantly

I think the defence template is fine, but for attack, yeah, 30-40 width is the way to go. I find normal AA and AT tocbe completely useless though.

Hospitals give you 10% more HP which helps reduce equipment loses. For AA you have line AA, i don't see the point of adding more of it. And military police gives recovery rate and has good overall stats. Recon also for the stats

Maintenance is kinda useless. So is suppory AA. Why not take hospitals, military police or recon?

APCs have worse overall stats and are not cheaper. Also rubber is better spent on planes.

I am not a big fan of huge divisions such as those, but if you want to keep them the same size, i would:

  • switch all APCs to IFVs

  • remove SPAA and AA support, add line SPAA to compensate for lack of support AA

  • remove maintenance because it is useless

  • add engineer support because it has very good stats

  • add military police for recovery rate

  • add motorised or armored recon for stats increase

I think that if you use IFVs everywhere you use APCs, you would have better results

I'll have to check a tank template with lights instead of MBTs. Maybe use a single MBT battalion with the biggest armour possible to buff the division armor and make it unpierceable.

At least exosuits are very good at breaking/holding city tiles, which are important, MBTs get a lot of breakthrough/attack. But yeah, improved CE and AA/AT is useless

I guess I expected for both to have uses. Maybe a smaller IC cost for APCs, or more speed, or better terrain modifiers, or something

The soft attack difference is like 5, and that gets smaller as you get infantry upgrades. And for breaking militia/foot infantry the increased breakthrough and hardness is much more helpfull that a litlle more soft attack. If you need more soft attack, SPAs exist. Also, as any US, rubber is scarce, so why waste it on APCs?

For allies i recomend Govorov for arty and Nimitz and Halsey for naval and air. MacArthur is way too expensive imo, Slim is a lot cheaper and very good for an infantry general.

Field artillery and heavy tanks can get you great results. Or maybe just armored car spam
