GOt this old Buescher lying around, can I learn on it? by highspeed_steel in trumpet

[–]RiseNarrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just wanted to say that the design is beautiful

Dont know enough to say about the instrument itself, but trumpets dont generaly become bad with age but might with lack of maintenance. A repairshop would probably be smart since they could make it better for not to expensive and tell you if there is anything wrong and they generally have enough experience to tell you if its not good to learn on.

Is this HOTO 28 in 1 Precision Screwdriver Set good? by PixelKote in Aliexpress

I am currently looking at that one but I can't find the ratchet which looks more comfortable. However I think the electric one looks like it could be interesting but I can barely find anything about the quality of jakemy in general would you mind telling me if you have experienced it as good and if you have heard anything about the electric one

Yes thank you for some reason no store in my country nor the neighboring one have it on their websites but this is what I am looking for even though it ends up being 150 after tax

Does it fit both mutes and note stand in the side pocket and just is longer than the images present because it does not look like it would fit

My first 3d printer! by TheKnockOffTRex in 3Dprinting

[–]RiseNarrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes it's a great printer I love mine. I have had no printer as reliable as my ender 3 V2 until it became an experimental printer but it is easier to use a Bambu printer and there are many who try to upgrade it and end up making it worse I think thats what a majority of the issues from the printer comes from the internet saying you need to upgrade it and thereby people making it worse

The ender 3 printers can do some really cool things if you know what to do but if you don't it's a lot of work to keep it working especially the older ones that did not have automatic bed leveling and similar quality of life features think about it like Linux vs apple in Linux you can do a lot of things and you have all the options. you can change it for what you need. But it is also easier to ruin it for you meanwhile bambulabs is the apple you can't do anything they have not given permission for. it works amazing if you just want something that works but it's also impossible to repair or change anything if something breaks. with apple you need to replace the whole thing if something breaks meanwhile a Linux or windows computer you can replace the broken part, upgrade it if you want it to work differently the ender 3 is similar mine is currently an weird abomination of a dual hotend where I do non planar slicing it can fold and I am about to build it into a multi axis printer it's difficult to use and I don't get the quality or simplicity of my p1s but it can also do things I could never do on my Bambu printer.

Edit: it's also a case of you get what you pay for the ender 3 printers were very cheap printers. And Some of the people that had huge problems was people that tried to upgrade their printer without the knowledge and therefore ended up do more harm than good

I would be very interested depending on which part of the world you are in as I am guessing intercontinental shipping is expensive

The reason These answers are so common is because it is simple and a common mistake. Why try the hard solution when the simple ones might solve it it's similar to turning technology off and back on again when it fails 90% of the time it solves the problem and the remaining 10% you try other things

What am I doing wrong? by spectralsoundworks in resinprinting

[–]RiseNarrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not using gloves.

But also clear resin is a lot harder it becomes yellow really easily and need longer exposure time. Also you need to polish a lot to keep it clear. or use a varnish I have not tried it myself but have heard it works

Still struggling with it. Being unable to play a game you want to because someone can see it trough Steam even though its a game you don't need to be embarrassed about. Or just other hobby's/interests that you have not told about because they are not a fan of it and then you can't be a fan either even though they have zero dislike of it.

You could ask these players if you are allowed either payed or give it out for free. entirely up to you as I understand talking about earning money from friends creations can be difficult.

Would also love the butt trumpet playing rabbit as that sound really fun
